My very first Friday Fish Fry in the area (southern girl) and it did not disappoint. I had the perch and it was so good. The coleslaw, fish and tarter sauce were amazing! Waitress was great as well. We did have a 20 minute wait but it went by fast. We arrived at 6pm and were glad we werent any later. Highly recommend.

I loved this place. All wood, I love different cultures and I got some sausage dinner. the best food I've had in awhile hands down. I also got a cheesecake that was voted #1 in MKE and I can see why.

Do you like German food and German beer on draft? Then you'll LOVE this place. Great food, good advice, wonderful atmosphere. Grab a liter of your favorite Bier, a bratwurst and potato salad, and enjoy!

Fish Fry Friday! It's crazy busy but oh my goodness was it worth it! Pork shank is enormous and delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and even when the place was busy I felt like the staff gave us their whole attention. Definitely recommend!!

I celebrated my nomination last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we had a phenomenal evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for the happy gathering. The stuff contributed in a graceful style, the food was extremely good and my friends were very glad. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Family was there last Friday the 13th. Jammed! My daughter-in-law and I had the 7 fried jumbo shrimp plate, husband and son had the regular fish fry and our grandson had the filet. The food was perfectly prepared. Delicious.

The food is phenomenal! Had the veal schnitzel and it was top tier delicious. Prices are high but their food and service exceed the cost. Plus they have real German beer!

The staff was really friendly and our waitress Lynne was very attentive. Next we'll move unto to food. French Onion soup there is to die for, along with a potato dumpling. They need to keep doing what their doing.

Ate in the Biergarten on 7/6/19. The Biergarten menu is a little smaller than the inside menu I think. Get you drinks at the bar and head outside and order at the Biergarten window. We got out food very quickly. I ordered the duck poutine which was delicious and my friend ordered the fish fry (which I tried and was also delicious). We chose Kegel's after checking out a best of Milwaukee fish fry list and weren't disappointed.

In Milwaukee, a city with a very German immigrant history, it doesn't get any more authentically German than this. The informal bier hall ambience and old-world influenced decor blend with an authentic menu to create a special dining event. Most importantly, the food is crazy good! From the traditional fish fry to the German schnitzel and warm potato salad, it's what you expect, and more! Be prepared to wait however... This place is not a secret!

This is one of the most beautiful and cozy locations in the Milwaukee area. Warm wood, lively murals, and good German restaurant hospitality. Good drink and food are on the menu and the staff are top notch. Perfect for a date night out or a group get together. Get an appetizer and an entree and I guarantee you won't be able to finish both.

We had the crispy duck and the pork shank. Pork was good, not amazing, but the portion size is huge!. The duck was incredible, and the stuffing and berry compote make a perfect bite. Unfortunately, not impressed by the spaetzel. However, I'll go back just for more of that duck... perhaps the best I've ever had
