KC's Classic Burger Bar

While shopping at the nearby outlet malls, we worked up an appetite and stumbled across this place after a quick internet search. Food was amazing and done right. I customized a burger with bacon, extra cheese, and onion rings. Burger was juicy but not messy. The bun was soft like potato bread. Bacon tasted fresh or recently cooked. Fries and onions rings were golden and hot. My friend ordered the “Fire Bird” fried chicken sandwich which also tasted like made to order fried chicken breast. Had great flavor. The prices were very reasonable too. Nothing bad to say. Give it a try if your in the area.

After watching a recent segment on Phantom Gourmet I was expecting something really out of the ordinary. Appetizers were great: terrific fried pickle chips and corn dog nuggets. Innovative burger options and good--not great--execution. I requested and received medium rare, which doesn't always happen. Fries were a mediocre spiced affair not so different from the bagged frozen spicy fries my wife buys. I was expecting better. Spicy fries are a mistake. The onion rings were hot and crispy but needed salt. Milkshakes were disappointingly weak, and I couldn't tell my malted was a malted (deal breaker for me). A fun place and strong service, but for me and my family, probably not worth a return visit.

I drove about an hour and a half to go here, and it was well worth the trip!! The food was really good, the drinks were great and everything was filling which sadly left us with no room for dessert. We started off with the Caramel Delight and the Oreo Mudslide adult milkshakes, which were very good and cutely served in Mason jar cups. We got the fried pickles and the corn dog appetizers and for our meal we got the Elvis burger and the Blue Hawaii burger. We had to get a box to bring half of our food home. The service was outstanding. The staff worked well as a team and everyone was helping everyone. We will definitely be coming back soon!
