Been coming here for years, solid sushi, but the prices seem to have gone up recently and it's not as affordable as before

The owner, Tony is always friendly and attentive. GREAT all you can eat sushi and Mongolian BBQ! This is a must try place.

The salad/food bar is great, some of the menu items are good.

Big fan of the all you can eat Sushi. It's not buffet style they make it to order and have very fresh stuff. I highly recommend it!

This is one of the best Sushi places in Lake County and it's only a few blocks from us! But overall the sushi is on par with some of Chicagos finest spots, quality is never lacking and they have a full bar. Service is great. Definitely a good family spot!

I called to place a to-go order while driving to the restaurant about 30 minutes before they closed. I was about a 15 minute drive away. They said no problem just one moment and placed me on hold. I was about halfway there an nobody had picked up to take my order, so I had my friend call from his phone. He was told the same thing "no problem, just one moment" and was placed on hold. I made it to the restaurant (still on hold) and continued to stay on the line as I placed my order inside the restaurant. Staff seemed very annoyed that I was there to place an order during business hours. I watched staff purposely avoid the phone as I sat and waited for my order. I left the restaurant still on hold as no one answered to take our order. They tried to save themselves time and work, but just created more work and wasted more time for themselves as they could have had this order started 15 minutes prior to me being there... probs won't be going back. Rubbed me the wrong way

Mongolian BBQ is the best. Sushi and Sashimi is also top notch. Will not disappoint.

We love Kawa! The have a self serve stir fry which is very good. You can make a vegetarian meal easily if someone in your party needs too. The rolls and sushi are always great as well. The service is always top notch. We have a great time every time we go. They also have private rooms as well as large tables to handle groups

Definitely a lot better than my last trip. The menus are new, the chairs in the dining room looked new, and some fresh faces in the dining room.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a fine evening and the place was indeed the reason for the fruitful celebration. The team cooperated in a lovely style, the food was yummy and my friends were so cheerful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. thanks very much.

I'm very picky when it comes to sushi. Not to much rice wrapped up in the rolls, thick cuts of fish and service was great! I've never tried mango on a sushi roll but their Hawaiian roll was fantastic. Plus the Volcano roll actually looked like a volcano!
