Kavala Taverne Grecque

We heard rumors about this place. We just ordered a couple of pitas, one chicken, one pork, a soup of the day (broccoli cream) and another pork pita plate. Flavours were right. Meats quite tender and well seasoned...then we saw the waiter bringing to a table a huge dish called plato...It was a whole Egyptian pyramid made out of all sorts of grilled meats, with fries and fresh tomatoes at the base. We were astounded. It costs around 33 dollars and it certainly can feed a half a dozen hungry mouths... our reports and in situ comments were positive. People kept eating with real pleasure. If you find delight in grilled meats you'll be returning to this place.

Simply Good Food

Amazing gyro and chicken souvlaki. Delicious tzatziki.We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The fried eggplants and zucchinis could be improved a bit. Our waitress was very nice. I will definitely go back to taste other charcoal-grilled foods. The South Shore needed a restaurant like this!

It was our first time ordering and let me tell you... Kavala did NOT disappoint!This is by far the best Greek food I have ever had in the south shore, and I can say I've been searching for a very long time!You can taste the love and the amazing quality of the food, and the quantity is generous for the price. My picky 2 year old daughter completely devoured her meal!Kavala is now on our top 5 list of restaurants...and we will gladly take the drive to pick up!

Excellent food, excellent service.

The food comes in big portions and is very delicious. Calamaries were very well cooked. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Would recommend!

We were there for dinner Saturday night. The appetizers, the food and the service was excellent. Definitely will come again. Tipical tasty greek cuisine, uzo and greek beer. I strongly recommend this place.

Finally an authentic greek grill in brossard. The appetizers and main plates we ordered were delicious from the kalamari , tirokafteri , dolmadakia to the gyro pita and the grilled chicken,. will definitely be our go to spot for greek food

We both really enjoyed our meals, they were not shy with the portions, and our waitress was very pleasant. Definitely will return.

Absolutely delicious and authentically greek! Just came back from Crete and the tzaziki is just like it is there. There is even french fries in the gyro like in Greece! Highly recommended!!

I took my wife and two kids on a Friday evening. I've been looking for a good Greek restaurant on the south shore for a while that wasn't fast food. Kavala did not disappoint. The calamari were so good I had to order it twice. Definitely fresh and not frozen. My daughter loved the home made spanikopita. We will be back.
