If i could give this place zero stars, I would. I did not consume anything here, and merely walked in with a few friends to see what it was. 1. Despite being a kava bar, they try to push kratom on you, a HIGHLY ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCE THAT IS ILLEGAL IN MANY COUNTRIES. Kratom can lead to addiction with severe withdrawal symptoms. Please do your own research before consuming anything here. The staff will not give you straight answers if directly asked.2. The owner hangs around, blasts loud music, and is rude. 3. The bartender was not knowledgeable when we asked him what the products were, and, once again, kept trying to push kratom on us. We left without buying anything.They try to brand this place as a "healthy alternative" to drinking alcohol. While drinking alcohol may not be healthy, this is still not a healthy alternative.

Great atmosphere, great drinks, great people

Greatest kava bar I've ever been to. You'll never find more kind people in your life. They all treat you like family when you come in and the way they measure their kratom & kava is phenomenal

Excellent people, friendly atmosphere, and some really great drinks make this a really good place to spend a few hours after class or work. The staff is always positive and attentive, and between the pool table, board games, and interesting patrons to talk to, there's always something fun to do at Kavakaze

I cannot say enough good things about this place. When I first started going I was new to the Kava and Kratom world but the bartenders took the time to teach me everything and help me order. .The service is always good and the crowd is always friendly. I highly recommend checking Kavakaze out.

I really wouldn't consider this as a bar. It's sort of the hangout for the kids that live above it. I wasn't into it. Go to the other kava lounge in town. They have live music.

Just went for the first time. Really love the vibe and music. Good price and great place to bring friends to chit chat and drink kava!

Cute decor, cool people, and the prices aren't too bad. It was really busy when I went so it took a bit to get my drink but other than that, it was nice.

So I have been to this kava bar only like 3 or 4 times and haven’t had complaints, but the last time i went was a few days ago on Wednesday the 15th and I saw something pretty unprofessional and very rude in my opinion. While a female bartender was working, a guy who I presume is the manager or owner (shoulder length black hair), went behind the bar and proceeded to question her about something until she began to cry. I am obviously unaware of the context, but it was still very uncomfortable to watch for me and others around me. He didn’t look as if he was treating her with any respect at all and he seemed to have really upset her during her work shift.
