You'll get that Japanese izakaya vibe and delicious japanese food here, but this place is really crowded! You'll often get into a really long waiting list.To get into the waiting list, go straight up the stairs and put your name and contact in it. You can stroll around for some time peacefully, as they will call your phone number to inform if it's already your turn to have a seat! Also don't hope that you can stay very long here if you're not going to continuously order foods. Expect the waiters to ask you politely if you're going to order more or not (if not, you'll be asked for your bills and finish your visit here).

Pocket-friendly Japanese dishes for everyone! So many choices that you don’t know where to begin. Best ones in the menu are the chargrilled gyoza and okonomiyaki.Came with a group of twelve and the servers were very attentive in making us comfortable and super friendly too. Call ahead and book on busy days.

Great place. Cozy atmosphere for small parties and groups. Make a reservation if possible. Popular location and reasonably priced. A little loud with positive vibes so it might be hard for first date conversation. Great place to gather with friends.

Great food with nice place! Though it's very full in dinner time, but they serve the food very quick. The queue is always long in dinner time.

Authentic japanese food with good ambience and affordable price. Aburi Gyusachu and Chicken Nanban are my favorite

One of the cheaper restaurant in little Tokyo. Thus, it is really crowded on the weekend. Reservation is mandatory, unless you want to be in the waiting list for a long time. The restaurant expect you to pay and leave the premise after you done with your food and drink. So, if you are looking for a place for a hangout for a long time this is probably not the place for you.The restaurant offers a lot of selection of food; udon, sashimi, appetizer, yakitori, etc. They don't serve pork, but still offers alcoholic drink. The quality of the food and drinks is okay, better than most japanese restaurant around Jakarta, but not the best around little Tokyo. However, for the price they charged me, I cannot complain.Overall, it was a good experience. Will I visit again? If there is an empty seat, probably, but I will never wait for a long time just to eat at Kashiwa.

Came here twice. The first one felt really amazing. The second time, kind of disappointed with the fried sitake and squid. They were not fresh and smelled really bad. The others were okay tho. This place is really famous with the cheap price, apparently they're not that cheap since 1 portion is actually not enough. It happened to me end with total +- IDR 260k (2persons). Oh don't surprise with the long line on the weekend. You could wait until 2 hours for a table. So brace yourself, maybe? 😉

I like the plethora of choice for Japanese food with suitable taste for Indonesians here. As well as the price is often hard to beat.

You need to plan your visit here, means do a reservation unless you really enjoy wait in the waiting list. Please do not afraid to ask the waitress if you dont know the menu. Also dont forget to remind the waitress about your order if you think you already wait for so long. the combination of Shochu Imo with Eihire is so recommended.

A recommended Japanese restaurant in South Jakarta, small place but affordable prices and lots of menus to try. It's always got waiting list.
