I just received my order thru UberEats. Let me start by saying, the manager was SOOOOOOOOOOO RUDE!!!!!! I was flabbergasted!!!! I have NEVER in my 44 years had a manager talk to me like she did. I contacted the restaurant to let them know that whoever made the tray didn't put my brownstewed chicken on the tray, and only about three table spoons of rice and plantains. So this ignorant woman had the nerve to hang up on me, then I called backband she said, LOOK WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT ME TO DO?" I was stuck because I was in shock. SERIOUSLY. HOWEVER, I must take some accountability. Because the reviews were not the greatest. Never again.

nice ambiance, intimate. Service was a little slower for food than I'd like. Food was okay, flavors were watered down a little for my taste.

Their patties, coco bread and jerk sauce is a constant go-to for quick and tasty food. Love having this place in the neighborhood.

I am so upset that I did not take a picture of the food but I guess I was just so excited to eat it. The food was fantastic. Tasted fresh and authentic. I’m not a pro with Jamaican food and this was my first time really eating it, but I feel like I know good food. And this was good food. Must try it and I will definitely go back. If you’re in a rush, the food comes out a little slow so take your time and enjoy the time with the staff and other customers. Great vibes in there and from what we heard yesterday, they will be having an upstairs and a patio for summer time fun. I will definitely be going back.

Went here while in DC with the kids, food was sooo good I had to send wifey a pic back home🤣!

Was visiting DC and a friend took me for dinner. Wait time was a little longer than expected but food was very good and freshly made, customer service was awesome. Definitely recommend this spot

I love the food its flavorful and so delicious I'm addicted the brown stew chicken is my favorite.

This was a far way from where we were staying in DC, but it was worth the drive. I enjoyed the jerk chicken, the sauce they used on it, and that it actually tasted jerk!It is a nice, spacious restaurant and bar, but I did not see adequate parking. Good vibes once in the house, too with real Jamaican vibes and music!

Food and service was awesome, looking forward to going back to eat there again 👌🏿💪🏿

The Island Experience has made its way to 14th Street. The best tasting meal ever and please get the fruit punch. My hat goes off to the chef. Thank you for your expertise....I WILL BE Back
