Chef Roman and staff catered our wedding on 9/9/2017. His staff is professional, friendly and helpful. The food is WONDERFUL. The communication leading up to the wedding is timely and detailed. If you are looking for a cater that has tasty, unique food and great service, I highly recommend Kangaroo Kitchen!

We had Kangaroo Kitchen cater our wedding at Studio D2D in March. I should not have waited this long to write a review because I would give them 100/5 stars! Food was amazing, taste testing was great, all of our guests talked about our food. Chef Roman even came over to my parents and husband's parents to make sure everything was ok during the reception. And had one of each of the apps we chose waiting for the groom and I at the head table since we didn't get any during the cocktail hour. The display was beautiful, staff was friendly, food was GREAT. There are a lot of things to think about/worry about when it comes to wedding planning, and I knew I didn't have to worry about food at all because it was in the best hands. Could not more highly recommend Kangaroo Kitchen for any catering needs!

I don't leave a lot of reviews however this is worth every bit of 5 stars! During COVID when businesses like caterers have lost a lot of business, we decieded to reach out and see if they would be willing to cater a meal delivered to each of our employees families during this time. They were more than willing! They delivered a beautiful, delicious (delicious is an understatment), and well thought out meal on time and under budget. I can't say enough about how great the expirience and taste of the food was. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Kangaroo Kitchen catered our Daughters wedding. Chef Roman and his staff are highly professional and the service is exemplary. The food was so delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Chef Roman is so helpful and informative during the planning process. We included some vegan options. We received so many compliments, I think we may have converted some to plant based. -) I cannot say enough about the delicious food and our experience with Kangaroo Kitchen

From the very beginning of the food planning process, I knew that we would be taken care of by Chef Roman and his team. He was super responsive, kind and organized. It is apparent that he truly cares about his business and clients. The buffet moved fast, the food delicious, presentation was perfect, and he took the time to talk to us during the reception to make sure we were enjoying everything. We took home leftovers and ate them for days. Everyone raved about the food. Thank you Chef Roman and Kangaroo Kitchen for being a part of our special day!

Hands down the best caterer in town. Roman catered my wedding in June 2018 and I couldn’t have made a better choice. He worked with me weekly until I was happy, super easy to work with and was beyond patient with me in the process. He consistently was in communication with me as it was getting closer to the wedding to confirm everything and keep me up to date. (He even helped me remember the important stuff I completely forgot about) It is easy to tell that he had a passion for what he does. All he wants is for your experience to be phenomenal- and to be honest it goes beyond that. I have VERY picky eaters in my family and every single one of them raved about the food.Roman and his staff are the very best and I would not use anyone else. Roman will go to any lengths to make his customers happy and he does it with a huge smile. This was the ONLY vendor on my wedding day that I had full confidence in to make it outstanding. HIGHLY recommend.

We did a tasting dinner for my step daughters' wedding this evening. All of the food was fabulous. The chef was very thorough in explaining everything about our upcoming experience with the wedding feast to come. I highly recommend this company.

Kangaroo Kitchen catered our wedding at the ballroom at McKay and it was absolutely amazing. The food was off the charts and the presentation was beautiful! We received so many compliments that night and still are receiving them about how amazing the food was, all of our guests loved it! I married an Australian man so it was fun to be able to incorporate some australian food into our wedding! We can not thank Chef Roman and his team enough for such a delicious amazing dinner! I would rate Kangaroo Kitchen above 5 stars if I could, because it definitely deserves it!

Kangaroo Kitchen did a FABULOUS job catering our 11/1/19 wedding at Studio D2D. Chef Roman is responsive, creative, kind, and professional. We knew we wanted nontraditional food, and he worked with us to give us exactly what he wanted. Roman was so flexible and adjusted classic favorites to fit with our southwestern menu (taco bar with southwestern mac and cheese, sliders, rice, salad). His food is creative, yet approachable. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. Appetizers were delicious and hot (meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, cilantro lime shrimp, and sweet potato and goat cheese wontons). Even the picky eaters were raving about dinner. If you want guests to enjoy your wedding food, hire them. Service was perfect on our wedding day. Event manager and Roman checked with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. Wonderful vendor. Thank you Chef Roman and Kangaroo Kitchen.

I am not a fan of typical wedding food and Chef Roman and Kangaroo Kitchen exceed any exception with their catering! It was anything but traditional wedding food-it had flavor, uniqueness, life and tasted amazing! Super easy to work with! They honestly deserve above 5 stars for quality!

Roman and Kangaroo Kitchen catered our 2019 New Years Eve Wedding and I never knew that wedding food could be so incredible! Every single dish was amazing from appetizers to late-night chicken and waffles. They made sure to put a plate of appetizers at the head table for my husband and I in case we missed them at cocktail hour. Roman and his team were so friendly, professional and easy to work with. I've heard you do not get to eat at your own wedding, but we were stuffed! Amazing family style meal with beautiful presentation. People are still raving about the food and trying to recreate his amazing salad. I would hire Roman and his team again for any event and cannot say enough about their service!

Kangaroo Kitchen did a fantastic job catering our wedding reception this past August 2019. We are still getting comments from our guests about how fresh, delicious, and attractive all of the dishes were. Not only was the food above and beyond, Roman and his team were amazing to work with leading up to the wedding, and so helpful, professional, and friendly the day of. Could not have asked for a better catering experience, from start to finish it was a 10! Would highly recommend Kangaroo for a wedding or any event!

We were married on 10/21/17 and Kangaroo Kitchen catered our event. Chef Roman was efficient, kind, flexible, professional, and responsive throughout our whole planning process, and on the day of the event his staff maintained that extremely high caliber of service and experience. The staff came early, set up their stations, plated the buffets beautifully, took extra care of our grandmas, made a special appetizers plate for the groom and I (they were right, we never even saw the ones being passed, we were so busy!). The quality of the food was incredible and they boxed up the leftovers! Scotty and I were eating incredible healthy food for a week! Perfection!So many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, the healthy options/spins on comfort classics, and their overall excellent impression of our food. Thank you SO MUCH Kangaroo Kitchen- you are wonderful!

They cater our small cocktail receptions and full-service 400-person events just the same - with incredible creativity, consistency, attention-to-detail in planning and presentation, the freshest ingredients, patience and (best of all) kindness. We used Kangaroo Catering for you annual school auction in February at studio D2D. We had over 200 people and everyone is still raving about the food! From the initial meeting with Chef Roman I knew he was the perfect choice he was prepared with few menu options day of everything was outstanding from presentation, service and staff! The food was amazing! From the meatballs and the vegan crab cakes WOW! Thank you Chef for making it such a memorable evening! Look forward to working with you again! Chanel Gorges
