Kai Sushi

It was pretty good, but it was not as good as other sushi that we have had. I thought it was a bit pricey. Of course we were in town during Lalapoluza, so that might have had something to do with that.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. THERE WERE BUGS IN THE BATHROOM AND THE FISH WAS NOT FRESH. ALSO, HEAD CHEF TIM IS AWFUL. YOU ARE MUCH BETTER GOING TO THAI SPOON & SUSHI ON 601 S WABASH AVE WHERE YOU WILL NOT FEEL BAD ABOUT GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. TRUST ME I AM A SUSHI SNOB.

Great restaurant, fresh sushi and maki. We were 2 and ordered 2 special rolls and 1 lunch special, it was great!

Friendly staff and very tasty food. 😋

I like the sushi here, but my favorite is the squid salad, BYOB, so bring your favorite beer, or wine..

Arrived a little EARLY to my hotel. Excellent cucumber salad, good seaweed salad, and the Super Crunchy Roll is super! I'm actually happy no one is here to share it with tonight. Lol i can be totally selfish. :)

Outdoor eating and delicious food. BYOB is a great option to enjoy an al fresco meal

Decent sushi. I came during lunch hour on a weekday and the place was about half full. Nothing extraordinary to report, and especially for the price I don't think I'll be returning. It's a good spot for your sushi fix if you're in the South Loop overall though. I did like that they had 6 veggie rolls but the quality wasn't anything to gush over. I got the avocado, cumcumber and sweet potato tempura. My favorite was the tempure by far. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and sweet. Wish I got her name. One thing to note is that they give you cucumber salad in the begining so that was nice. Good enough to go to if youre craving sushi, not somewhere for anything amazing.

Just received delivery and I have to throw away the spicy scallop , it was bad and so smelly Spicy salmon was not tasty too. Will not choose this place in a future.

Another delicious dinner from Kai Sushi tonight. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, our orders are always ready on time, and staff are efficient and courteous. Ordered online through their website (they use ChowNow), which was easy to use, and was able to place the order in advance and select my preferred pick-up time. They are not currently doing any in person dining, but their takeout game is on point! On several larger orders we have placed, they have also thrown in a free appetizer, which is excellent customer service--and great marketing, as we now order shumai every time because a freebie became one of my son's favorites!

I ordered a few veggie rolls and miso soup to go. They were delicious and really cheap. I have another go-to sushi spot in the area, but Kai Sushi will be taking its place for casual after work dinner at an awesome value. The patio looked nice and the staff were friendly. I can't wait to order again!

Great local sushi spot with an outdoor patio. The rolls are large and filling and the spring rolls (especially the sauce) are fabulous. They have 1/2 off your first speciality roll on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Amazing deal! Volcano Roll is our fan fav!

HELLO, this was my tenth time at kai Suchi.. it still remains as fresh as my first time there. The Chefs there take the time out to listen to your requests... If there is a special request, don't be afraid to ask ... SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROMPT AND VERY CURTIOUS...The King Salman Tar-tar was beyond heaven...
