Everything was fresh and put together well. Would order from again. Prices are a little higher, but your paying for quality.

Seriously some of the best sushi I've had in Chicago - truly the place for real sushi lovers. Sure their special rolls are delicious (I love their spicy tuna - it's got sweet potato!), but where they really shine is with their amazing chef created nigiri/sashimi. Everything is incredibly fresh and complemented with incredible touches like uni butter, marinated jalapeno salad, etc. The fish is probably the freshest I've had in Chicago. The service is attentive and happy to answer any questions and make suggestions. They are also BYOB which is great.

I kind of dont want to give it 5 stars out of selfishness, Im only 4 blocks away and its a great spot that I'd like to keep to myself. Service is great, menu is great, and the food quality and presentation is awesome! Lakeview gem, definitely recommended, especially if a certain Argentinean restaurant nearby says you need to wait 1.5 hrs just to be seated.... So glad we dined here, 5 stars!

The Tonkatsu ramen is without doubt the best anywhere in the city. The specialty rolls (esp Ocean) are delicious and the fish is always exceptional

Good sushi spot on Southport. Nice outdoor area to hang out in good weather and BYOB.

Very good sushi. I recommend the Caterpillar roll or the Dragon roll. Very conscientious about covid

Excellent sushi at really affordable prices! BYOB. Had to wait a very long time for a table we had reserved in advance, but it was worth the wait.

Takeout reviewOverall: Great opportunity for those who live by Southport, which is seemingly sparse when it comes to any sushi options. The good: Great tasting sushi, each roll had it's own unique flavor and presentation. The citrus salmon, green turtle, and special spicy tuna were all great in their own way, and the presentation (even for takeout) was impressive. The fish is fresh and flavorful and the "portion" sizes of the rolls were perfect. The not-so-good: A little too expensive. Also a tad slow, we walked in and ordered and it took probably 15 minutes to make 3 rolls, even though there was only one other two-top there.Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 7.5/10Food: 8/10

Awesome spot! Tucked away north in Southport. Friendly staff, high quality sushi and reasonable prices. The ocean roll is a must try

Wasn't a fan. I did not enjoy my sushi and I definitely did not like the miso soup. I couldn't even eat it. I also wished there were more raw sushi options for the maki rolls. Sorry, but I will not be returning.
