Once a year my dad and i come to D.C. for Rolling Thunder on Memorial weekend (from Massachusetts), and after we are done riding there isn't any place we would rather be than at JV's resteraunt! Live music every night, awesome food, and employees that have turned into wonderful friends. Thank you Lorraine! <3 <3

We had some of out HS guys do a jam for us at our 50th HS reunion here! Cool "made in America" place! Great food but it took awhile since there were so many of us.

If you enjoy local "olde School", down home musicians from cover style bands as well as original lyrics this is your place. The inner walls are plastered with posters and bio's of acts that have visited and performed at this venue (I was a 'roadie' for one of them) Friendly staff, management, I'll certainly be back. Check out 'Open Mic' night!!

This is the best place in the entire DC area to relax, listen to really talented musicians, hear amazing singers and dance. It is the real deal! The staff are down to earth Americans. They make you feel comfortable if you are on your own, on a date, with your family, having a birthday or with your motorcycle gang. This place has been around since the 1940’s. There is a reason it has been going strong since 1940!!! Best live music, cool staff, chill atmosphere and value for your money every time. Real talent!!! Miss all you guys, Nanette

The atmosphere and music are all 5 stars. They have a great music line up and the sound setup is very good. I ordered a hamburger, fried mushrooms, fries and sweet potatoe fries, all no better than 3 stars. Based off that, I wouldn't recommend the food. The drinks, atmosphere and MUSIC are all a solid 5 stars.
