Just Hooked

Food was excellent! Started out with tasty drinks...the Summer Blackberry Mule was delicious. We had Drunken Mussels for our appetizer and it didn't disappoint! My husband said that they should put a straw in there so you can slurp up all the good broth at the bottom! I had the special for the day - the halibut. It was very tasty! And I love cheesy grits! My hubby had the tuna and he finished every bite. A very creative dish with kimchi! Unfortunately, we were too full for coffee or dessert. But if you go, get there early....the bar filled up quickly and by 6 o'clock the place was pretty well packed. I totally recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience!

The appetizers were delicious: mussels, bang bang shrimp but the Cobb salad was good. Went for lunch and their prices were outrageous. $28 steak salad? Doesn't seem fitting for just hooked. If I were at a nice steakhouse or fancy restaurant, it would be more fitting/expected, but not here. Staff was extremely friendly.

This place is amazing! The chef makes an amazing menu with healthy and fresh food! We went as a large group and not only did we have an amazing dining experience the prices were very inexpensive for the quality and portion sizes. Drinks were well blended! I would give the place 5 plus star!!!

Just Hooked is one of our go-tos when we're at the beach. They've got the right formula: friendly, competent staff; great food, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The bar sits prominently in the main dining room, allowing a view of the large TVs from most any table. The massaged kale salad is one of my faves. It's full of different flavors and a nice crunch. The cocktails they've invented are all amazing. There's plenty of great seafood here but also great beef or chicken dishes.

Delicious! Get the boom boom shrimp, will change your life. Our server was super attentive(Cant remember his name). My wife got the blackberry mule and it was super strong... So be careful 😅. We got burger and fries because it was a $8 special on Monday. Was great. Try the house hot sauce. It's fantastic.

Visited 2 days in a row. The first was very quiet, the second very busy because they had a taco deal running. Food was delicious both times and we were looked after by the same bar tender (Ann?) who was knowledgeable and friendly. The manager came by to welcome us back the second time which was a nice touch. Will revisit.

Had a great meal at a different hooked. You can't go wrong visiting any of them. Only wish is to always have a Burley option.

Food was very nice and came out quickly. Service was exceptional. Price is on par for what you get. Serving sizes were large and the fries were excellently seasoned. Deserts are very nicely portioned for the price and are worth getting. Two desserts are more than enough for four people. It is a highly esteemed place for a multitude of reasons!

5 star food 3 star service thus a 4 star rating

We went here for the first time and enjoyed our meals very much. The ceasar salad was crisp and fresh but we asked that it come plain without any seafood which they obliged. The tuna poke had the correct touch of lime and avacado. It was very smooth and subtle. Very good. A burger was over cooked but still juicy. The whole snapper was a show stopper. Normally i think deep frying seafood diminishes the taste and makes it bland but the snapper was tastier than i expected. Also expect to use your fingers. Key lime pie and a chocolate fudge with coffee ice cream were both delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive on a busy night. We would definitely go back.

On vacation and looking for something new . Got there and it was very busy , which usually means it’s a good restaurant . Told a 30 minute wait but only waited 5 minutes . We got seated and was immediately waited on . Very friendly place , and good looking restaurant . Drinks came out quick , only issue was there was a little fruit fly in my drink . Food was very well made . Filled me and my beautiful fiancée up quick ! The only things we didn’t like were the fruit fly in the drink and the menu is a little small . Prices are also a little high , but overall I had a good night out and had a good experience with trying something new .
