Julia's Banana Bread

The drive here is beautiful, amazing, slow, and at times frightening. That said, it was our favorite drive in Maui and Julia's was fantastic. The man at the stand was fabulous! Friendly, gracious, and with a great sense of humor. The banana bread was good and the passion fruit butter to put on it was AMAZING! We bought a jar and I would love to add it to my special occasion kitchen stock. We grilled it later. Wow. Loved the whole area, and the pictures of the stand don't do the setting justice.

I can’t review the banana bread, because I’ve never liked banana bread. But, I loved our stop. The lady was very friendly! We got banana bread, macadamia nut cookies, strawberry lemonade, and pineapples. The lemonade was incredible!The pineapple was, well, pineapple... but wonderful. The cookies? Oh, boy! I finished them while we ventured through the remaining winding highway around the island. Great little stand. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Best coconut candy I had during my stay in Maui/Kauai. The lemonade is amazing too.I'm sad I didn't get the banana bread, but I had been eating a lot of banana bread prior to arriving at Julia's. She was absolutely wonderful - a bright, cheery, lovely human. It was worth just being around her for a few minutes.I bought the mini macadamia-nut and chocolate chip cookies. They were amazing.

Banana bread is exceptional. The coconut candy is insanely delicious and worth grabbing.

There are two reasons to come up here...they aren't the blowhole or the pools...it's Julia's and Lorraine's. Julia has some of the most righteous banana bread on the planet, not to mention the other goodies she carries (we walked away with 4 different things). Brave the road, enjoy the adventure, and have a great time. The reward is worth it.

We bought lemonade and banana bread at near the blowhole. Someone said we should buy the banana bread. I'm glad that i listened to them! The best banana bread I've ever had. soft and not too sweet, great balance.

I love this banana bread. Seriously I’m so sad I wasn’t able to get it this time around but it’s worth the drive I promise!! They also have little macadamia shortbread cookies that were addicting. Seriously.

This is the best banana bread I have ever had and I am a freak about banana bread I stop at all the places that sale it . When this lockdown is over with I am flying back just to visit and get me some of Julia's bread.

What a joy this little green hut in a small mountain village with a happy man in a pink shirt sharing little treats. Your banana bread comes with a complimentary knife in case you decide to eat it all before you get back to your hotel.

Amazing banana bread. The best we had on Maui. Super soft and juicy. The setting and road to this place is serene. Must visit. Drive carefully though!

Best banana bread ever! Cool little place where they grow their own bananas and taro and make amazing banana bread along with some other little treats and drinks.

She is world famous for a reason!We got the banana bread, coconut candy, and two types of lemonade. Delicious!The drive to get to her might be butt clenching and remind you that you need to rewrite your will but that's definitely part of the adventure.
