That one small town cafe that you always read about in books and see in movies. The waitresses are kind, the food is real Midwest cooking, and the homemade pies are incredible. A great place to head to after church and have a cup of coffee, you'll meet locals in their Sunday best, farmers fresh from the field, and travelers stopping off from the Interstate. I worked there in High School as a waitress and I miss it! I live in Kansas City now, and still try to visit whenever I come back to town, the Kickapoo Special at breakfast is still my favorite :) A country gem!

Great place to eat. It is alot bigger than I was expecting. Truck parking lot in behind the restaurant. I had lunch chilli tuna sandwich came with potato chips and a side of cottage cheese. Coffee and strawberry rubard pie to go! Will definitely come back if I'm passing through here again. Waitress was friendly and efficient.

We had the Fried Chicken which was excellent. The sides were good. The butterscotch pie was amazing and totally hit the spot. The service was top-notch and our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable.

Great restaurant in the country, but right off interstate 74. They are known especially for the home made pies. Many varieties. Prices are very reasonable and employees and owner very friendly. Go to restaurant for sure.
