Wow, just had our New Years Eve celebration at JTK and the meal was outstanding. We had the four course date night dinner and it was a celebration in my mouth. Our service was fantastic. What a wonderful place to have the perfect dining experience. Our compliments to Chef Ben Keeler. Perfection.

New decor great food and service

Truffle fries were out of this world, lamb cooked to perfection, and wagyu filet just MELTED in your mouth. Wine selection is great and servers are pretty solid. Potatoes and vegetables are usually some of my favorite things but neither of us enjoyed our whipped potatoes and the carrots were pretty drab. Definitely will go back because my experience was almost 100% great. Suggestion? Might want to skip seating people with a reservation at the table with the vent blowing cold air when it’s 40 outside...my experience would of been 5 stars if I wasn’t seated right over a cold vent. Remove the table or ask people who don’t have a reservation if they would be ok with that table. Just my thoughts.

My wife and I really enjoyed JTK. Went on a date night and ordered the date night, an appetizer two entrees and a desert. The food was wonderful. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. All and all a wonderful experience.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was timely. I specially recommend going during a husker game, there is NOT a tv and it's a great escape on a Saturday night.

JTK attempts to be a high-end restaurant. The decor, the service and the prices all provide the feel of a top notch restaurant for the area, but the food misses the mark. We chose to do the "date night" special. Nothing we had was bad but nothing was interesting or exciting either. The flavor was just okay. Spices were underused leading to a weak and thin flavor. The temperature of the food was often just luke warm. We decided to upgrade an entree to get the beef tenderloin. Unfortunately it was actually a bit tough to cut and again lacking in flavor.

The food and staff are always very professional and more than accommodating. If let say a "muchacho" would like to come in with their own beer and make a fool of themselves at an establishment where patrons come to enjoy a quiet evening and not discuss the outcome of a game whilst leaning over a booth meant for privacy, then clearly you've walked into the wrong restaurant. You were more than likely looking for the Denny's down the road.

Last night was a bust! 😠After making reservations for a nice evening out and planning the "date night", we were informed that they Raised the price from the web site by $20, Really. We inquired about the conflict and were told by the manager, well it is the new years Eve special. Really for who? There was: No, I'm sorry, or any concession, Really- they need to learn about public relations and how to treat people. Lazo's profited instead.Oh, and returning to the car, we looked inside to only observe 2 tables were occupied, maybe not the only ones disrespected.Lost us for good and gift certificates for our family. Rated only one star, because I had to rate one to leave the review. 🤬

Beautifully prepared cuisine, quality ingredients, and a true care for the work they perform all the way around. Kobe steaks so tender they can be cut with a spoon, wine served at a perfect temperature, knowledgeable staff no matter what the question is. I love coming here regardless of the occasion and I wish I could come more often. It can be pricey, at least for a college student, but it will always be a bimonthly meal for myself and my guests.

Amazing restaurant and amazing staff. One of the best wagyu steaks I've had in a long time. Very nice place for a date night or meal with friends. The wife really enjoyed her sea scallops as well.

This place has fantastically tasting food and their whiskey selection is the largest I've ran into in the Haymarket. This is our preferred date night spot.

One of my regular haunts. Great place. Tyler is an outstanding host and has a personal commitment to hospitality, service, and making each guest feel special. The food is very good, reasonably priced, and the wine menu is first rate. Among the best in Nebraska.

Delicious food, and a great wine/bourbon selection! Very warm lighting, and the service is probably the best in town.Eating here isn't just a meal, it's an experience!

Excellent food! Excellent atmosphere!The salmon might be the best I’ve ever had and the blueberry bread pudding is amazing. 5 stars for sure!
