Best gyros sandwich in Venice Florida... Very friendly staff you feel like family when you walk in the door :)

Elma is awesome. Whole staff is friendly. They have a resident old fella whos always at the counter, so you know the foods good. I get the gyro platter. I wish they gave you a bit more rice w the platter. I go weekly id say 😆

Had read good reviews of Joys Kouzine so decided to give it a try. Ordered 2 gyros to go. The waitress (Joy ?) was so nice, asked me if I would like a glass of water while I waited for my order. Smiling and kind, it is obvious she enjoys her work. The gyros were excellent. The coleslaw that came as a side was outstanding. (The kind that has a light vinaigrette not smothered in mayonnaise.) The portions were large $9. Terrific find.

Great food, coffee and friendly staff

Could not have asked for better service! The chicken noodle soup was simple, but well flavored. The gyro was on a perfectly warmed pita with solid cuts of meat.

I've been searching for a good gyro and today I found it! Ordered by phone, was ready by the time we came to pick it up. Staff was very friendly and the portion size was well worth the price. Will be back again soon!
