Joy Curry & Tandoor

Busy, noisy and a bit frantic. Not the place for a quiet meal. Food is delicious, really tasty. I had veg curry, which came with rice, and was coconutty and spicy. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the Vegetable Curry I ordered was great, however I found it not as good as the ones you get at other authentic Asian restaurants.

We go there every time we crave Asian cuisine. Loved the spicy prawns, fried dimsums and the desserts.

Not bad Didn’t like the hop hop beer & duck bun that much Spekkoek, Tofu bun & papaya salad was good

We had a lovely dinner. The food here is really awesome. They don't have airco inside, so when it's hot outside it's also hot inside. The service is nice and helpful. Would really recommend going here, cause the food is great.

Food is average and I find a bit over priced for bite size offerings they provide. A waiter knocked over my friend's glass of processco and shards of glass went everywhere. When we got the bill, they still wanted to charge of for this glass. We were in a corner which made difficult for the waiters to see us and take our orders. The desserts were disappointing.

Had lunch here yesterday and we really enjoyed it. Very nice small streetfood dishes to share, or to just enjoy by yourself. I especially liked the dumplings and hot and spicy shrimps (which are indeed really spicy so do not order when spicy food is not your thing). Good quality food and possible to eat glutenfree. The girl who served us was super friendly. So overall good place for lunch or dinner which I would definitaly reccommend

Overrated and overpriced. It's very loud inside and the decor and presentation might look good on Instagram but if that’s the main thing you’re after you probably also don’t care that the food is average at best.

Super tasty food, great interior, friendly stuff. Portions are like tapas so remember to order few. Bao bun with crab highly recommended!

Good food and super atmosphere

The restaurant looks nice, small plates type. Service was a bit slow, it was quite hard to get the server's attention (server's always changed). I felt like it was a bit of a rip-off, servers were pointing out the most expensive stuff on the menu and prices are too high for what you get. My favorite "street food" Asian restaurant in Amsterdam. Good authentic food in hipster environment. Good for locals and tourists. You can go for a quick bite or go all the way!
