I've lived in Panama City all my life.. I never knew this place was here!!!! This is the best Soul food, country cooking at its best!!! I never tried Ox Tail... I will admit I looked at it for a minute. But it was amazing!!! I will make this place a regular lunch spot!!!!

Sharolyn, the owner of Josiah's Southern Cooking Restaurant, is so kind!! Everything she serves is made by hand and it was all so delicious! Josiah's is open from 11am to 5p.m. There's several entrees (local favorites) on the menu, prepared and offered daily. Sharolyn, also shakes up the menu a bit, by adding a new entrée to choose from depending on the day of week. Ex. Thursday's is Fried Chicken! YUMMY!The restaurant isn't very big...but it is VERY CLEAN!! Sharolyn and her family are in the process of having a larger outside sign made.... but for now...If you are heading towards BMC from 15th Street on MLK Blvd., turn RIGHT at Steele Bail Bonds Bldg, Josiah's is located at the end of the building! GET READY FOR SOUTHERN COOKING Y'ALL!

Absolutely the best soul food in panama city! The flavors were just like my grandmother's cooking. Overall feeling of love just from eating the food! BEST EVER! Ms. Sharolyn is so sweet!

Great place to eat

Loved everything about this place. Sharolyn and Greg were wonderful. Food was fabulous. If I lived in Panama City, I would eat here every day. The fried pork chops were juicy with a crispy breading that was delicious. Oxtails were so tender and tasty that I almost ordered a second entree. (I tasted someone else's). The yams had so much flavor and I have never tasted fried okra that was as good as this was. Did I mention everything was delicious?!? Oh, I almost forgot the best part -- the beverage options include Kool-aide!!!

Just went there today I had ox tail rice collards an yams so delishes .My husband had pork chops rice lima beans mac n cheese an corn bread we loved the food very much the lady that cooked it sure did put her soul in it an it showed.
