Joon's is one of our favourite places to go in the neighbourhood. We have become regulars in the last year and often eat there two to three times a week. One of my favourites is getting the bossam lunch box. At dinner time, we'll order the tofu soup, seafood pancake and my boyfriend loves the beef bibimbab. We love to get sushi here and actually find that it's prepared as well as the sushi we've had in Japan! While we're sheltering-in-place, this is the only restaurant we're ordering from and Joon's proven the food's even great for takeout. Thanks Joon and everyone at the restaurant for taking care of Patrick and I!

Not particularly reasonable and not particularly good. It probably won't be your next favourite Asian restaurant. The Korean food isn't as authentic as any standard Korean restaurant you may visit, portions are not so satisfying, and prices are meh. That being said, not bad and if you are living in the area this place might be a good choice. The sushi that I had was good. The atmosphere is cozy. Service was good. But with the restaurant selection that Vancouver has to offer this place might be a tough choice. The temperature was a bit cold in February with the huge cold windows radiating cold at the patrons.

Great little place for some home cook style Korean food. The seafood pancake was crispy and seafood ingredients cooked perfect. The only problem was the pancake was thin so it’s hard to have a lot of seafood but I enjoyed the crispness. The fried chicken was pretty awesome though, and the pork belly really fills you up. The prices here are very reasonable. Definitely a local favourite. The service is a bit slow when it gets busy. I can’t blame the only server, however this is my only gripe because this place is awesome.
