I love this place for so many reasons. Between the beer, the burgers, the pizza, the community feel of its cafeteria-like setup, everything about this place makes you feel jolly. You really can't go wrong here. It's inventive and has so many exciting fresh flavors. Its use of mushrooms bring an earthy balance to the vibrant flavors of their beers(especially their more bitter grapefruit-like hefeweizen beer) . They do a great job The pizzas transport you not to Italy but Hawaii and California! It's just a great place to be as a single person or as a family! No matter what, the lines move fast at busier hours) You really can't go wrong here!

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! I love the South Pacific one which uses dried pineapples instead of fresh ones. This makes the pizza far less juicy or runny and tastes great. The mushroom one is an amazing mix of garlic and mushroom, and is also phenomenal. The Korean BBQ pizza might be the best one on the menu though. Great combination of flavors. Oh, and did I mention they have a great beer on tap selection. My wife and I love coming here to eat and then dropping by Shinola for some window shopping.

Wow. This place is great. 100% recommend. Noland was the best. We were in town for a conference and went to JP for drinks and food. My partner doesn’t eat egg or dairy and the vegan options are good. They had a vegan garlic aioli that really elevated the truffle fries. I loved the sours and the bartender made cocktails that my partner loved. Would recommend the chicken sandwich and speciality beers.

Can't say enough good about this place. Great vibes, outdoor dog friendly seeting (and walking distance from an actual dog park), pizza is epic - fresh ingredients, etc. Excellent service, and moat importantly the beers are Top Notch, good variety of styles, flavor, and fair price!

Jolly Pumpkin is a cool restaurant and bar with pizza and sandwiches. It is located next to Third Man Records. Order food at the counter, a drink at the bar, and they'll bring your food to your table. The tap list is long and diverse, Ieverything I've had was really good. The food is very good too, my favorite is the chicken sandwich is my favorite.

Bit crowded but great place. Food and drinks are great decent portion size. Nice, warm cozy interior

Me and my lil fry-guy are truffle-fry lovers so this was our after-auto-sho choice, I tried the wings for the 1st time today, I think they forgot to add the sauce, they tasted jus like regular wings and weren't suppose to be. I think we'll jus stick to the truffle fries. #detroitchic

Our family really enjoyed our meal here. Service is quick and the meals are delicious, creative and a treat. Try the burger and the fire chicken pizza and have a little of both you won't be disappointed. We came for the food but will come back to explore the entire neighborhood. Only thing missing was dessert but we were too full anyway

Jolly Pumpkin has great beers and a great atmosphere. However, I would not recommend their food, especially not the pizza. The sandwiches are just "ok" to pay that much for and I thought the pizza I ordered was very disappointing.

This is a place where you order food from the counter & pay & they give you a number. Then you go find a table & sit down and they bring the food to your table. This would be ok except that some people get a table & save seats & then go order their food. It gets too crowded & it is difficult to find seats together. We had 4 in our party. Initially we had to sit not together: after a while some people got up from a table to leave & we rushed over to get that table. The food was actually very good. I got the short rib sandwich & chicken soup. Others in my party got pizza & nachos. We were all happy with our food. Some got drinks at the bar & were happy with those too.

Great experience. Two wonderful ladies bartending, very helpful with selections and finding what we liked. Good beer, nice atmosphere. Didn't eat, but food that came out of kitchen looked fantastic.

Good beer and drink selection. Did is good. It was quite crowded when I visited.

The nachos were delicious! Coming from abroad, the nachos were better than anything we can get in Europe. Dare I say it, more chips could have better balanced the dish. The beer is good. I tried the sours, not so much for me but not bad to sample. Definitely give them a whirl. I left with a six pack of IPAs and cant wait to try them when I get home.
