Really loved this place for brunch. Great service! I had a spicy bloody (perfect amount of spice btw) and the chilaquiles with pork... Omg best choice! :))

Andouille sausage, crisp potatoes, mozzarella, avocado, lightly scrambled topped with trails of hollandaise - OMG. My my my l, well thanks John and by the way I love your quaint but bold patio'd haven. Your place does the body good and the community reminds me of Cheers. Happy locals just dropping by to get the regular and eager to try anything that strays from the traditional menu. Great for family, great for staples. Truly a 4.7. BUT, and this is important - the pancakes which were recommended were a tad over cooked meaning the coloring was starting to look like a dark bark on the outer perimeter of those fluffy slapjacks. Tweak that, and you get a true 5-stars!

A great casual restaurant with a nice variety on the menu. Always welcoming. I particularly enjoy John's in the summer when we can eat outside but also warm and welcoming throughout the year.

My family and I had a great lunch while visiting the area. The burger I had is in the conversation for the best burger I've ever eaten. Servers were very friendly and attentive. Only thing I would mention is that it's a little pricey...our group of 4 adults and one child for lunch was over $120.

Cute little place. Food was good, but, the seating was really cramped.

Tried the Impossible burger and their breakfast burrito with sweet potato fries. Both of these choices were great . The service that day was slow because of it being at capacity inside and patio seating.

Amazing! Great customer service and great food. The prices were good as well. The wait time was not long at all. We came around past noon and were greeted immediately by someone working there. Our waiter was very caring and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I did not get his name however he had glasses and lovely speaking voice. I did not get the chance to compliment the chefs however I don't want my appreciation towards their work to be unnoticed. I am from Milwaukee so I wasn't disappointed coming here and I will be back once I come back to chicago!
