The pizza was a great first slice during my stay, but the real reason for my review is the friendly staff and the fried ravioli! If you stop here please try the ravioli - blew me away. I almost bought a second order for the road.

I will say we had to wait quite a bit for our pizza to arrive because the kitchen got backed up, but it was probably the best pizza we've ever had! Seriously, my husband and I eat pizza ALL THE TIME and were looking for an awesome NYC pizza and this was perfect! I would highly recommend it!

We shared a small traditional with pepperoni. It was a quiet afternoon for the restaurant. Some others around us had ordered salad and they looked really fresh. Service was great and staff was just attentive enough. We would recommend it!

I am from NYC and have never been here until now. This space is beautiful I must say that. Not what I expected when I walked in.The food… well, I think if you look at this place threw the eye or in this case taste buds of a none New Yorker you will love the food here. They serve all the standard New York Pizza shop food you would expect and it is pretty good. For me, it was like I was in a New York-style fast-casual restaurant in Denver Colorado. I will give them high marks for the calamari. Everything else was just slightly above average in a city where I come to expect the best pizza in the world. So if you have come to see a show or just left one stop in for some pizza. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Possibly some of the best pizza I have had in my life. My wife and I came here after a Broadway show on the recommendation of some friends and it did not disappoint. We shared an order of garlic knots and a Pizza Margherita. Prices were very reasonable as well. I would definitely come here again if I ever make it back to NYC.

This place was AMAZING! 6 stars if I could. The pizza was out of this world, and the room was simply gorgeous. The service was also amazing. They just kept bringing us pizza. Overall, an amazing first introduction to New York City.

Great garlic rolls! They were definitely my favorite part. Be mindful that drinks are not refillable, and that your waiter may not be all that attentive. Beautiful artwork and stained glass and plenty of space in the restaurant.

Wait was extremely long (which is to be expected) however the hostess did try to expedite our seating because we were going to a show. The atmosphere was comfy. This building used to be a church and it still holds some of its charm. The pizza was ok nothing hugely spectacular in my opinion. For NYC it was decently priced but it's literally some thin crust pizza and some Italian dishes. I would go back again but I don't think I would brag about how fantastic it is or wait an hour and a half for a table.

From the outside, this looks like a tiny little unremarkable pizza shop just off Times Square. Inside, it used to be a huge church (I believe 70 or 80 years old) that looks like it took up a large part of the center of the city block. Once you get through the entrance and into the main room, you're greeted with 50 foot ceilings topped with a massive beautiful stained glass dome and huge murals covering the walls. Fun to sit up in the "choir loft" if you have the option. Oh, and the pizza is of course simply OUTSTANDING.

Iconic pizza place in mid-town Manhattan. We had two types of pizza that were both good and an antipasta salad that was also tasty although maybe a bit overdressed. Service was pleasant and we were lucky that it wasn't a very busy time, because we didn't have to wait one second for a table. If you're in the city and want a classic New York City pizza experience, I recommend a visit.

Not a bad place if you want to sit and have some pizza. The pasta was not impressive, the sauce was ok. Not quite moms homemade stuff and skimpy servings considering the price. The decor was fun and the service was quick considering the rush we walked in with. Best to stick with the pizza though.

Very nice restaurant. Aesthetics inside are great. My party ordered a pizza and I ordered spaghetti w/ marinara. Pizza was extremely fresh and the pasta was light. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped by here for a treat when spending the afternoon in NY. Appearances are deceiving. This looks tiny until you go inside. What a beautifully repurposed church. Cozy and calming atmosphere. The fired pizza was delightful. Very busy (hello- time square) but delightful staff so sit, relax and don't rush yourself.

As a Chicagoan, aside from deep dish, we still know pizza and this place didn’t do it for me. Hot, thin crust, plenty of mozzarella, greasy but lacks flavor? Great pizza should be good as is without all the condiments on the table, but yet here I was reaching for them. I went here at the recommendation of a tour guide that it was the “the best†thin crust pizza in New York. I should have held him to that.

We stopped here our first night in NYC. It was recommended to us by a friend. The wait time to get a table wasn’t bad. We were sat next to the restrooms and weren’t given a high chair because we were at a booth, we were told. The food was fine. Since we were sitting off to the side it was as if we were forgotten. We asked for our check from random servers since ours only seemed interested in taking care of the 6 person table, as if our dining experience and tip didn’t matter. Overall it was an okay experience and we may or may not go back.
