Great food, I mean absolutely great food. The place is an old dive bar with homestyle cooking. If you love all things stew, then this your stop!

So visiting from out of town and was recommended to eat here. The stew burger was a recommendation as well. Well it did not disappoint. Initially I was a little taken back by how it was served but I went in with an open mind. This burger is just absolutely amazing the stew was amazing. This place is something you must try. The staff was completely nice and friendly. I had a wonderful conversation with one of the older ladies there.

A must try when in Indy!!!! You know you’re in an great old school restaurant when the lowest seniority waitress has 10yrs and the most senior has worked here 44yrs. The most genuine and best wait staff in the city. As you have seen in other post the stew is awesome, but so is the rest of the food. Oh and the drinks like the Bloody Mary you see in pic are made to order, can be spicy just like the stew. Has been a staple for me for last 35yrs.

This is a CLASSIC Naptown spot! Great value, old-school vibe, down-to-earth servers, and hearty food! Lots of regulars hang there, but it's also a cool spot for travellers to stop at. And if you like your stew SPICY, ask for it hot :)

I'm always a little cautious of how, as an asian guy in the Midwest, I will be treated and seen in areas that are kind of out of the way and not necessarily my crowd. I've had a fair share of bad experiences that have put me on edge. But I really loved this place and can say with certainty that I didn't feel like the odd one out. The food was fantastic and the wait staff was kind and welcoming. I am thankful of my time spent here with a friend.

Tommy the owner past away a few months ago may he rest in peace, but I spoke with both of his daughters while eating there today and they both was very friendly, customer oriented, just really made me me blessed and happy to have chosen to eat there today...
