You haven’t fully experienced Carrboro, NC until you’ve been to Johnny’s Gone Fishing! With an 80+ year history, Johnny’s is set in a large yard with on-site parking on W. Main Street a few blocks up from downtown. Come by and visit us in our charming blue house, with free Wi-Fi and some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet! We serve locally-roasted fair trade coffee and espresso drinks and a wide variety of snacks, beverages, baked goods (including gluten-free!), locally made ice cream, and local artisan goods. At Johnny's we host live music shows, impromptu jam sessions, sing-alongs and a variety of activities for all ages.

Great place! So cozy! They have a bunch of games to keep you entertained. Their coffee is delicious and there is a good amount of space both inside and outside. They only have pastries, so not a great place to go if you’re hungry, but if you’re down for scones, cookies and ice cream, this is your place! Will definitely come back. My new favorite place in the Chapel Hill area.
