Johnny's Bar-B-Q

It's a cozy spot with the best BBQ ribs I've tasted since I've moved to Alabama! Nice smokey flavor and tender. I ate the half rack with no sauce because would have over powered the smokey flavor. If you get a chance to pass through, make a stop. You will leave there satisfied!

Driving through Cullman, I was looking for some good BBQ. This place is the highest rated according to Google, so decided to give it a shot. Wasn't bad by any means, just not great. The pork has no smoke flavor. You can tell by the smell from around the building, and the stacks of wood out back that they are smoking their meats, but by taste I would think it was cooked in an oven at low heat. Price is cheaper than most fast food, so I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, good lunch. But if you're a BBQ enthusiast, keep looking!

Anytime I pass through Cullman, I stop in for a BBQ Pork Potato! Never a disappointment!!! Staff are so friendly. No wonder it was my grandparents' favorite place to eat!

Amazing family owned mom and pop place in biz for 56 years. We were traveling through the area and according to google this place and another bbq place which was a chain had the same rating so we chose the family business and were NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! GREAT food and service!! A must stop for award winning bbq!

Very good tasting pork. Barbeque sauce really good and not overwhelming like some BBQ joints. Nachos are excellent.

The food was excellent. I had a BBQ salad with a variety of contents. The BBQ was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had a delicious pork stuffed baked potato. The service was super quick. This was my first time here, but if I’m back in the area I plan on coming back!

Friendly atmosphere. Bbq a little spicy for my bland taste. My husband loved it. Had large portions. Delicious mac n cheese. Side note: Very small restroom...doubt a wheelchair could access.

We stop in when coming through the area. Good food and portions. BBQ pork and catfish are my favorites. Never had a bad meal, staff is always friendly and quick. Highly recommend.
