This is my first time eating at Johnny D's and it was GREAT. I will definitely be coming back in future trips. They serve good quality food, it was fresh and flavorful. The service was exceptional as well! They have a wide selection of breakfast foods. Lunch items were limited in my opinion but still great. I ordered the Spicy BBQ chicken salad and it was excellent. No one in my party was disappointed with their food. Needless to say they have a new lifetime customer.

This place was amazing. Friendly staff, incredible food, at a fair price. We went during vacation on our second to last day and again the last day we were there...if only we found it sooner.

First time here. Quick and friendly service. The owner came to ask us how our visit was which is nice. The food is top notch! It honestly beats every other breakfast place in myrtle beach and they have a large menu. I highly recommend y'all.

I bartend at a restaurant in Myrtle and every year I get visitors and locals alike that ask me where are some good eats around the area. I ALWAYS say Johnny D's as my first recommendation. Every visit we finish every morsel. The skillets, hot honey sandwhich, chicken biscuit and gravy, pork n corn, everything is so BOMB. And you MUST get a waffle. The french toast pound cake holds a place in my heart man. The staff is amazingly nice. There is ALWAYS a line out the door. If you dine and don't like it, it's because you are picky. You won't regret it.

We came here the day before Christmas to eat. We had a party of 7, no wait. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The food came out quickly. The atmosphere was open and airy. Very clean restaurant. The food was straight. I got the chicken and waffle and side of home fries. My waffle was fluffy and delicious along with the chicken. My home fries needed more seasoning. I would definitely be back.

My husband and I went to Johnny D's on February 14 and the food was so good we came back the next day. The first day we had the chicken and waffles and a Cuban sandwich with hibiscus tea mimosa and a breakfast margarita. Everything was fresh, the food was so favorable and the staff was very attentive. The next day we tried the blueberry waffles and the fried chicken biscuit and gravy. Everything was great! Best breakfast in Myrtle Beach handsdown!

Decent $5.00 breakfast for $12.00. Food was average but way over priced. In response to Chef Jamie, I appreciate that you pay your employees well. Your server did a great job for us. If you would like more detail, the reason I said over priced, it's because the food was average! I received 4 pieces of bacon. 2 were cooked crispy and 2 were chewy undercooked. The home fries/hashbrowns looked amazing but had no flavor. The eggs were bland. I had a plain Belgium waffle and it was perfect. We just wasn't Wowed by the food. I chose Johnny D's because of Google reviews and I was disappointed. Thank you for your continued promise to continue to manage the quality of your food and take care of your employees. That's rare in today's restaurants.

Very good breakfast. Waffle was the highlight. Nice flavor and fluffy. Only downside i can find is the price versus portion. I got 2 eggs, 3 bacon and 1 plain waffle for $10.57. A little high. But when you throw in a coke for $3.12. Then you have a $15.00 breakfast for one person and i wasn't stuffed :( I would have like to feel a little fuller for the price I paid. Everything else was great except the price.

I wanted it to be better.Pros: our waitress was sweet, attentive and the food came out relatively fast.Cons: the waffles were soft with no crunch, the bacon was floppy - it was all pretty bland tasting. Sadly, I can't say we will visit again.

I had the crab cake Benedict. The English muffin was burnt, so I just took it off of the English muffin and kept it on the crab cake. Once I did that the meal was perfect, the mimosa was a great size :-) and everything was delicious. The caption "Life feels normal again" is because it was my first time in a restaurant since covid.

No wait. WONDERFUL service. Tasteful food. OVERALL PHENOMENAL FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE. Side bar: my nephew is on the autism spectrum. I love the awareness and support. 🖤

Great food and good service! Chicken fajita omelet was really spicy but I still loved it. Prices were very reasonable and our server was nice to fill our personal coffee cups. Stop here every year we leave MB to head home. Great last pit stop for a long drive.

Really bad experience today, I tried calling about 4-5 times to order over the phone, clearly no one answer the phone so I decided to order online. So if you decide to call expect this. However, they threw my sauces on the plate to go, so it’s literally all over my dish. I order the wrong dish because I didn’t really know how to properly know the dish name. Expect your food to be thrown in a plate.

Wife had the crazy banana split waffle thing and loved it. I had the Cinnamon bun waffle which was great. Call ahead seating is definitely recommended as we just walked right in and sat. The restaurant is very busy, most likely due to the great food and atmosphere. The restaurant has merchandise to support autism for sale which is an admirable show of support for a special cause. The waitress was prompt and kept my sweat tea filled and was very polite. Will definitely revisit when we come back down.

Fantastic! Short wait time considering the rush (15 minutes was Actually only 15 minutes). The food was spectacular quality and reasonable (not grandiose) portions. Steak Benedict was the best! The service was kind and quick. This is someplace I will definitely put on my list of favorites.
