This place was delicious. Pretty standard breakfast options with some very good specialty pancakes. We had to wait a while to get in, but it was definitely worth it. The food and service were both exceptional.I’m

My family always celebrates special occasions at Joe Muers. There is no better restaurant around, it is so special. It is decorated beautifully and you have a gorgeous view of the Detroit River. You may even get a glimpse of a freighter. Everything I have tried from the menu I have loved. Today I had the fish and chips with creamed spinach, it was awesome. Don't forget to save room for dessert, their coconut cake, carrot cake and chocolate lava cake are all unbelievable. The waitstaff are all amazing... They are very attentive. Thanks for another great meal and even more special memories.

As a restaurant owner and self-proclaimed foodie, Joe Muer is the real deal. Everything was excellent. Totally above and beyond. The service (Adam was our server), drinks, food and atmosphere were perfect.Yes, the place is expensive but my husband and I hands-down agreed every penny was well spent. As far as the dress code, come on people. It's not Joe's Crab Shack. The live music (piano) was lovely and it was nice to have time between drinks and each course. I never felt like I had to hurry up and finish anything. We took our time and enjoyed every bit of our experience. We will be back for more!!

This is the perfect place for a date or a nice evening out, if you can get a seat! This was where I first tried lobster in my life! It was very juicy and kinda sweet! The ambiance is wonderful and you can get some nice views too. The menu is a bit pricey but you get very good quality. Service was kind and polite. I want to go back and try more items, but it was very hard on the wallet! Other than that, it was really good!

Treat yourself to the FINEST Restaurant in town! This is my ABSOLUTE favorite dining experience! Phenomenal service! If you dine & indulge at the bar, ask for MERV! He is OUTSTANDING... the VERY BEST! You will ENJOY his SUPERB Service, and extensive menu and wine knowledge! The Seafood, and everything on the menu will truly melt in your mouth! AMAZING TOP CHOICE RESTAURANT!! Bravo!!

Not an inexpensive place to eat but probably worth it for most. Plenty of intimate tables and also window views of the river. Great service. The lobster bisque was ok and the shrimp and grits pretty tasty. There is an active bar and also a sushi station. If you want seafood in Detroit this restaurant should be at the top of your list.

The food here is delicious and the service was great! Eddie was our server and he did not miss a beat! Everything we ordered was perfect and timely and served with love. Eddie even had the chef prepare our dessert with Happy Valentine's Day in chocolate! We went the day before the holiday for lunch to avoid the crowds. The view of the Detroit river is spectacular and the food was perfect. I have found my favorite seafood restaurant! And thank you Eddie for making our lunch special!
