Great atmosphere and we had enjoy the Dine-in menu with fabulous price. We ordered fish n chip and fresh Oyster on the side. The Kusshi oyster taste perfect. Highly recommended for anyone who lives here are visiting Vancouver👍👍

Ate here the first night in Vancouver. The wait staff were very knowledgable about the menu and very polite and accommodating. The appetizers were tasty; can't go wrong with Calamari and the Oysters were good. Main course were as advertised and presented well. I would recommend going to this place at least once while in Vancouver. the meal was very good and tasty. the service was excellent! all family members, adults and children liked it very much. a large selection of vines.

Fortes is always a solid choice. Service is excellent and the menu is big enough to make sure to have something for everyone. We really like the lounge area for a casual cocktail and snack.

Joe Fortes is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. The service is top notch, they treat you with absolute class. The food is amazing and if you're on a budget they do have a happy hour most days of the week.

It was my very first time to visit there. Everything was great. Food was so delicious and I would say the restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in Vancouver. Also I was impressed with the service provided. First, when I ordered food I said we were going to share dishes. Then one of each course was served split in two plates. Second, I put a memo when making a reservation saying that it was gonna be a belated birthday dinner. I was so happy when desserts were served with a message of Happy Birthday on the plate. So appreciated. I will definitely come back next time. Just one thing I want to mention is that if you want to enjoy food in a quiet atmosphere, this wouldn't be your first option. It was a little too busy and crowded.

Came here during the Vancouver dine out for dinner. Absolutely loved the happening vibe with the live piano playing in the background. The service was great, our server made us feel very at ease. The food was delicious !

Incredible happy hour. Showed up around 4:45 and were seated at the oyster bar area within 15 minutes. Staff was really friendly, oysters at $1.50 each is a great deal. The rest of the menu is somewhat pricey but worth it (the seafood is super fresh here) 10/10 would recommend!

It's not often that I decide to take the dine out menu, but for Joe Forte's it's an amazing option. The seafood is fresh and well made, the service is excellent, and the variety is wonderful. Their desserts are well made too, it was a tough choice.

Everytime we visit Vancouver we make reservations here either for lunch or dinner. It's usually very busy and recommend making reservations online or call in. We ordered the West Coast Seafood Platter for 2 comprised of seared scallops, grilled salmon, shrimp, mussels, snow crab, and lobster. The service was exceptional, the interior clean, and the food was very good. They also serve premium cut grilled steaks if you're not a seafood fan.

Definitely one of my favourite older style restaurants in the downtown area. Joe fortes does a great job of maintaining the vibe of a restaurant from 30 years back, having a classy vibe added by the live pianist and layout of the restaurant. Although it's not a cheap place to eat, the quality food, ambiance, and service justifies the price in itself. I would 100% recommend coming here during dineout because for $45 you can get an appetizer, entree, and dessert! I've never had a bad experience at Joe Fortes, and the food always tastes good. I will admit the clam chowder wasn't the best, but their steak and seafood pasta was delicious. If you're from out of town, I would definitely recommend checking this place out for a great dining experience, or coming here for a special occasion.

I can’t express enough how satisfying my brunch was today at Joe Fortes. I had the Joe Signature Benedicts and it was so amazing. I also tried the Oysters Rockefeller and they were the best oysters I ever had in my life. Highly recommended the restaurant.

This was one of the most wonderful dining experiences ever. I went there by myself for lunch. I sat at the bar. The servers were very helpful and kind. The service here was definitely spot on. I ordered salmon cakes, tho it wasn't the greatest flavor, given its service, food quality and freshly made dishes, it was still an excellent experience. I would totally recommend this restaurant, and would love to go there again whenever I visit Vancouver.

Great service and great food. The Lobster Benedict was amazing! Will definitely go back the next time we're in Vancouver!

The food and atmosphere, piano player, and servers were all very amazing! The only downfall is we were at a tiny 2 person table in an awkward spot and weren't given the option to sit elsewhere. But the service was impeccable and very much made up for the seating. The food was beyond delicious!
