Amazing food, great service, friendly folks. Super excited to get an amazingly delicious menu item that benefits the National Kidney Registry.

Being from Jersey it's hard to get a good Sicilian slice here in the DMV and finding this little slice of heaven was a blessing. I kept the order simple as a test of the technique and I was impressed. I'll definitely be returning. Service was also great. Location a cute cozy spot in lil Italy great date night option.

Joe Benny's deserves 6 stars. The food is fantastic and you have to get the flat bread. Share it, so you leave room for drinks and other food (dessert was great too). The staff was excellent and if you get a chance, talk with Joe. You can sense how proud he is of the place and it comes through. It was an 80's music stream and we loved trying to figure out the band for each song. This meal finished a great vacation and it was by far the best experience we had all week. This is a MUST VISIT to Baltimore.

Amazing hospitality at Joe Benny’s. The entire staff is friendly and takes a great deal of pride in their job. They treat you like family whether it’s your first or fiftieth visit. My go to orders are the Sloppy Rowe, Joe Benny, and the Daddio w/ prosciutto. Don’t fill up too much as the cream puffs are incredible for dessert. Make sure you check the chalk board upon entering for the monthly specials.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Everyone who works there is funny and kind and just generally good at their jobs. The owner, Joe, will come personally check on how your meal is and say hello. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is enough of a draw on it's own. Definitely try the meatballs, they live up to the slogan.

Good spot. The Sangria was great. Meatballs were good and the sauce was good. The penne pasta was a bit dry we asked for more pesto sauce and the focaccia was also a bit dry. Toppings were good. The cream cheese puff hazelnut was good also. Nothing special but good spot.

Great spot especially a first date. The couple next to us got a lot of help from the friendly bartender. Oh yeah, pizza is good too.

Got the garlicky cheesy focaccia sticks for app. And "The Pete" both were so good!

I also tried two antipasti, the crab crostini, and the bone marrow. The bone marrow was the standout...but probably because it came with pasta hehe. Overall: Perfect date spot or birthday dinner spot with a few close friends! The service is always excellent. Don't forget to make your reservation at least 3-4 weeks in advance.

The service was relaxed but attentive. The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere was inviting, though the seating wasn't very comfortable. But as small as the restaurant is, I would imagine they're just going for efficiency with seating. The food was delicious. We had their famous meatballs as an appetizer and then again on a pizza. However, as good as the food was, it was expensive for the portions given. You're paying the prize of a large pizza for their personal sized pizza. The meatball appetizer runs $2.75 per meatball; they're just regular sized meatballs. But again, the food was very good, and while we didn't leave stuffed, we left content.

Questions & Answers

There are about three steps to get in the door. If it's packed, there is limited room to move around in. Also, I think they only have a few low tables.

The food is fantastic, but I think aside from the salads and a few apps, not very gluten friendly.

Depends on tbe appetite. If you get an appetizer, i say yes
