JJ's Red Hots

This place is great! The Red Hot is one of my favorite dogs. However, JJ’s does it a bit different. I’m used to having sport peppers and a tomorrow wedge on the dog with a bit of celery salt. JJ’s didn’t serve it that way but it was great nonetheless. The true winner here was the Korean BBQ wings. I ordered these on a whim for an appetizer and I was completely blown away. These wings contend with my favorite wings of all time. I will definitely be back to JJ’s anytime I come to Charlotte and order these wings. Thanks for the great experience!

Absolutely love the hot dogs here. Best place in my opinion out of all of Charlotte to go get some hot dogs. They also have a Double Dog combo for $2 you can get a second hot dog with a side and a drink. Must try if you are in the area!!

Alonso is the friendliest guy you will meet when you step up to order at the East Blvd location. Great selection of delicious hot dogs and top-notch service. I thought the homemade pickled veggie bar was really cool and unique. The Tater Tots are fresh and crispy just like you expect, highly recommend! If you are not into dogs, they also have sausages and chicken too!

When my husband is able to meet me for lunch we always end to st JJ's since it's not too far from my office. I'm a creature of habit and always order The Char-Heel 2 dog combo. Chill, slaw, onions and mustard. Any time crinkle fries are on the menu, they're a must order die for me. Even if the line is long it moves quickly. My husband said they have the best Chicago dogs outside of Chicago itself.

Not the same JJ's anymore. Looks like insolvency or a transparent profitability move. Best dogs on the menu have been axed, menu is down to about 6 fairly basic dogs (Basically your standard Chicago dog + Chili), onion rings are gone as well as most of the distinctive toppings. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE ORDERING/APP, menu is wrong and "not hooked up to the store" so my order for coworkers became chaos.Will not return, now just a standard hot dog stand offering with a physical location. RIP Sonoran, Whistle Pig, Southern Girl, etc.

Pretty disappointing. "beer cheese" looked and tasted like Kraft finely shredded cheese. Dogs were just ok. Staff was super friendly though, only reason I didn't give it two stars.

The food was good but the people working there were super nice and helpful. We had a baby and they went out of their way to help us with her and the our food. Extremely appreciative!

I love me some JJs. $2 Tuesday is a must. Nice atmosphere and the customer service is great.

Best hot dogs in the city! Good price for the taste and quality. They were having a wings special so tried them as well. Look out for their specials menu. Onions rings were pretty good but hotdogs stole the spotlight.

Great food spot in Charlotte. We found this place from the Diners, drive-ins & dines app. I had the The Char Heel & the Whistle Pig with their onion rings. Very tasty and now I think I like Cole slaw on my dogs. Staff is friendly and free refills.
