We are a family owned and operated all American steak and seafood restaurant that specializes in hand pattied beef, buffalo, and elk burgers, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. Since we opened in 1978 in Tampa Florida by my father, we have been believers in keeping things fresh, fairly priced, and family friendly.

Passing through Bryson City and needed a quick lunch. Stopped by at a little past noon and the restaurant wasn't crowded. We were told to sit anywhere we like. Our waitress came with the menus and silverware very promptly. We got our drink order quickly. The menu was simple but with variety. They have Buffalo and elk on the menu. My co-workers ordered both elk and buffalo burger. They enjoyed it quite a bit. I ordered the mountain trout and had it grilled. I get two sides with my fish and I chose fresh vegetables and steak fries. It was a pretty good meal. My fish was under the extended lunch menu but it was still $13. Pretty pricey for lunch. Maybe because of the location? Overall, it was a good visit.

We were there a couple years back,and really loved our dinner there . First time for Trout and it was amazing with baked potatoes and salad ! Most definitely will be back. Also a Rèisling wine that was fantastic!!!

They were busy when we got there and had to wait for about 25 mins. The staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious but took longer than we'd prefer. But they all came out great, so the long wait was somehow worth it. Their prices are a little bit high but the portions are good.
