Jimbo's is a family-owned and operated fishing resort nestled on the west side of Lake Panasoffkee in Sumter County. Our resort includes cottage rentals, RV sites, bait shop, boat slips, launch ramp, a fishing pier, and delicious American fair cuisine at Jimbo's Restaurant. Jimbo's Restaurant features a classic American fair menu. Our goal is to serve high quality meals at fair prices. We proudly serve our family-inspired fried white fish, fresh angus burgers, black pepper fries, and an assortment of other items. We also serve a variety of beer and wine and even feature live bands on Saturday nights. One of Jimbo's newest additions is an outdoor bar known as The Cave. It has plenty of outside seating as well as a great view of the lake and the only Canooler around!

Our first night in town and eating out and we found this little gem of a place!! The service is impeccable and food was amazing! My mom and I shared the "big a** platter" and it was a lot of food for 2 people for $20!!! The fish was a tad salty, but other than that it was great. Nice atmosphere by the water too!

They got us the 1st round of beverages, after that we had to get our own refills. The clam chowder was thin and weak, it took almost 40 minutes to get our meals, (there were 6 of us). We ordered their Big A$$ Platter for two...and got 4 pieces of fish, 6 shrimp, two tiny cups of Cole slaw, and a small handful of fries...for $20!Don't bother, your time is more valuable than wasting your time here.

Fun, casual lakefront establishment. Outdoor entertainment, tonight is Frank Marchitelli, The Village Cowboy -country at its best. Can eat at picnic tables outside, or indoors if you prefer. Great prices and great food.
