My bud B-Rad and T-Ravis hit this place on the way to Wienner Circle. I haven't eaten all day so I was glad I opted for a hearty Boriqua meal. The food was a healthy portion for a hungry person. Authentic Puerto Rican flavors and a good bartender made this a good stop. We started with the passion fruit with an extra shot of Meyers Rum.

A special friend in his mom they're both Puerto Rican we had the food was excellent it was great I had a good time and I will be coming back again the guy that waited on his he was great excellent I don't know my name the other guy came from the kitchen he was very nice friendly

Loved this place. Jibaritos were delicious, piña colada mock tail was tasty, and the service was fun. Watched a Cubs game, made some friends, and chatted there for a solid 2 hours - it was an experience I won’t forget! I felt included and a part of Chicago even while visiting for only a short time. I will visit again when I’m back in Chicago!

I normally come to Jibarito in particularly at the location on Clark street about once or twice a month for years now and I have no problem recommending the restaurant to my coworkers or my customers where I work. I understand that you guys were busy but if I’m getting eye contact with multiple staff members for like 15 minutes at this location and no one made the effort to come up to the register it just seemed kind of weird. I understand that things happen, But if someone is patiently waiting at the bare minimum that one could acknowledge them and let them know that someone would be with them shortly. Since I was never greeted or asked if I wanted to order I guess my best bet at this time was to order with the QR code. This interaction with this location became even more “odd” when a family of white people walk into the door two people rushed to the register. You would think these two were running in the Olympics. Not only was I not acknowledged (again) but your staff let the white people cut in front of me like they had the flash pass at six flags. One staff member greeted and seated the family and the other staff members went to the back of the restaurant. (Once again odd.) After another 15 or so minutes I was finally acknowledged by one of your team members. He asked if I wanted to place an order and I had explained to him that I had already ordered through the QR code since I’ve been patiently been waiting for some time. He stated that he was going to check on my order and then disappeared without coming back to give me any update. It was at this point I would have left if I had not already ordered my food. After another 10 or so minutes of continuous eye contact with all of your staff at the Clark location another team member came up to me and to ask if I was wanted to order, I then again explained to him that I was now picking up an order and I gave my name and showed the order placed once again and he said he was going to check on it. He finally returned with my order. By the time I got back to work which is not far, it’s on Clark and Wellington and began eating my food I was greeted to lukewarm food. It is safe to say me and my staff members, friends and family will not be dining at Jibaritos any longer.

Love their Jibaritos and the staff is so nice and friendly. The drinks are really good too. I just need them to stay open later during the warmer months.

if you want service DO NOT go to the Lincoln Park location. I placed an order 45 minutes ago and decided to go have a drink while I wait. nope. the one waiter was indulging the only table he had and completely ignored standing for 11 minutes. the other guy has just been on the phone back and forth. no acknowledgement, no attention, no nothing. When I waited for the writer to step aside from the table, I asked about my food and he said, you see me making coffee, give me two minutes. The food is amazing. I Usually go to the one in Logan Square and it's awesome. anyone that visits, i always recommend and make it a point for them to try the food because you won't regret it, but not if you go to Jibaritos Lincoln Park.
