Jia Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar

This place is very good food. I haven't eaten sushi because I don't like it. However, the other foods are good. They are much better than Panda Express.

My girlfriend and I have essentially made this our go to place. Atmosphere is great, the food is always amazing, and the service is excellent! Will always continue to come back!

The food was good but the service is the problem here. I called in an order and was hung up on. Once order was taken I was told 20 minutes. Upon arriving, I pay for my order and proceed to wait another 40 minutes to get my food. While waiting the three people working the hostess table get into an argument and take their frustrations out on every customer that came in after. When the take out orders were finally brought out (about 9 of them) the arguing staff members continued their conversations with one another while the food sat there. Two of us asked if we could have our food and one of the workers said she was trying to figure out which orders were which. In reality she was doing her own thing. The food is good but it’s not worth the headache of dealing with the staff.

Simply the best Chinese food I've had. Some dishes have creative twists too.

JIA's is a very poor version of its former self, both in terms of food and service. For those who used to enjoy the original location, you'll know exactly what I mean. Two of us went two weeks ago on a Sunday night. The Orange Chicken entree was served with chopped lettuce. The Ocean Mist roll had hardly any sauce. No one asked if we wanted a second bottle of sake. The check was even left on the table without asking if we wanted dessert. Very disappointing all around.

Was told we would be seated after table was cleaned off. Sat for 30 min at 1:30 in the afternoon without being seated. The table had been cleaned for 25minutes. Hostesses either wondered off or talked amongst themselves. Didn't seem too interested in what they were doing. Used to go here all the time when they were at old location. Ever since they moved the service and staff have been awful for the most part. Long waits to be seated with tons of open tables, slow kitchen. Not going back.

This place is awesome! We walked in at 7:05 on a Saturday night and we were sat immediately. The place had a lot of customers but luckily they were on the ball with seating people. The hostesses were friendly and greeted us. After we were sat, our server greeted us and took our drink orders. I forget her name but she did a great job the whole night. I ordered the pineapple shrimp and it was delicious. I wish it had more shrimp, but I suppose what was given was reasonable. My wife had the chicken drunken noodles and they were great too. I think hers tasted better than mine. We also wanted to sample some sushi so we got the firebird roll and spicy shrimp roll. Both were amazing and had great flavor. As a bonus to all this, they had gluten free soy sauce. We don't have a gluten issue, but we think gluten free soy sauce taste 10 times better than regular soy sauce. Just a small added bonus. We will definitely be returning and can't wait to try more new things.

My favorite sushi place in the Charlotte area. I've been here several times and each time was a great experience for a different reason. The rolls, the entrees, the sake, all were delicious.

Heard this place has great sushi. The food was good but not great. The service was not. Don't know if the young lady had too many tables or what. It was a little busy for a Tuesday. Would give the food a solid 3.5 but because of the service no.

Very well done - from checking in with the hostess to signing the check. The food is extremely well prepared. The waitress - Alexia - was on her game through the whole service. She perfectly spaced the arrival time of our appetizers and our entrees. Drinks were always refilled. Just really good quality all around. I cannot believe this is my first time visiting, but it definitely will not be my last.

Always great food and services, it was packed but food still came out on time. One of the top sushi places to visit, definitely coming back to try some other dishes in the menu. I think the chili snapper is next, I'm not sure yet🤔

I place a huge order, over 80 dollars of food. However i will never order again in my life, they over charge me for extra stuff and refuse to refund the money. the food was disgusting and believe me not worth the money. I had a phone conversation with those people and no matter what, they will not refund the money.

The bartender Bryson was so friendly and accommodating. He could guess what we wanted before we even knew!!! The atmosphere was homely and the food was to die for. I wanted to embalm myself in the mala sauce. It was delicious!!!

Absolutely the best Asian Fusion around. The sushi is fantastic, Chinese is a large step above other places, the PHO soups are amazing and the other options are great as well. We eat here 1-2 times per week and have never had a bad meal. Try sitting at the bar for your meal and have Bryson make you some of his amazing cocktails.
