Jay's Downtown Sports Lounge

Slow service, bland food, well cooked, poorly seasoned, friendly service, loudest sports bar I've ever been to. Cheap beer during football, but not worth it to me.

The music killed a nice Friday night out. Nice I know not everyone love the same Gene of music but they went from rap to dance to instrumental to finally land on country. Bad choice for me but most of the crowd loved it. I ordered a flatbed but the taste was off, I think the bread is gluten free. Lastly we ordered a total of eight drinks between us and not a single one tasted the same which is AWFUL. One had to much lime soda and the other has not enough to, no pineapple or orange juice in my other mixed drink. Still seems like it could be a really great place.

Pretty cool sports bar. Tough to get the bartenders attention at times but it’s a big bar at least 80 feet with usually only 3-4 bartenders. At least they got good food and decent drinks.

This is our favorite bar in downtown Fredericksburg! Great food, great specials, and perfect for watching the games. Big shout out to Tom, Ashely, and Katie Marie for always taking care of us while we are there!

Great bartenders..some hip hop music would be nice but they're most likely trying to "prevent" certain "crowds" other than that just a chill sports bar

Great location to meetup with friends for pool, darts, drinks, or dates. There are lots of TV's to catch up on any sporting event. Plus the food is extremely good, the staff are always friendly and check-in with you even at busy times.

Fun vibrant night life, amazing food and cold smooth brews loved it!

Better than the location in Stafford. Food was hot when it came out and our server was very friendly and helpful.

Decent happy hour. Good drinks and service.

It took us way to long to be seated and took almost another 10 minutes to have a server to our table, so I brought it to the managers attention thinking it would help but unfortunately nothing was done. DEFINITELY would not recommend jays sports bar.

Good place to stop in and grab a quick drink.
