This is an iconic dinner serving Montreal's famous Smoked-meat (the best in my opinion). You won't get anything more authentic than this restaurant ! It's open 24h and has a complete menu. Also great for brunch, plates are huge and prices are reasonable. This place will surpass your expectations ! You'll find easy parking on and around the premise. Service is ordinary but everything is clean. Food is fresh and always served warm.

It's always fun to go to Jarry Smoked Meat. It's like a trip back in time. Even their rapport with the clients is outstanding. It's affordable and good. So lucky to live close by.

The smoked is outstanding! Big portions! What I liked te most is that the meat is not crumbly like falling apart, great taste. I had the poutine jarry too with the smoked meat and mozzarella cheese, at first I was skeptical about the cheese choice but I came to learn the mozzarella plays and integral part of the whole experience keeping the fries, sauce and smoked meat together tied up in melted cheese, genius idea!

Visiting Montreal for the first time everyone says you gotta try the poutine and smoked meat. So our party of 14 ended up at Jarry's. The restaurant was half full and the service was incredibly slow. The smoked meat sandwich was very good but honestly? Something easily replicated back home. What was most disappointing was the poutine. They don't even make it with cheese curds. Shredded cheese? Again could have made this at home. We were looking for an authentic Montreal experience, I guess that's bad service and mediocre food.
