Japanese Restaurant Maeda

Best creative Japanese cuisine ever!! I didn’t expect such a delicious meal when I was looking at the prices on the menu but wow. It’s authentic, made by Japanese chefs and it tastes amazing. My most favourite Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt now.

Quality of products is very good, however, overpriced offer.1) Sushi pieces are very small - smaller than average - so you have to order more sets/pieces and in the end you get a large bill - 30/35 euro2) Offer of sushi rolls is rather strange - very complicated and unusual combinations, a lot of sauces above the rolls, no offer of classic rolls int he menu. However, you can ask to replace or remove some ingredients 3) It takes a lot of time to wait for the order and sets come with a significant time gap4) Ice mochi are super tasty. However, they serve only a small fork with it - it's a bit difficult to cut them to smaller pieces and eat without a special knife.I personally wouldn't go there for sushi again, because there are better offerings in frankfurt for such and even lower pricing. However, for a cup of tea with a dessert can be a good place.

Delicious sushi, sashimi, salad... it is all done with love and care. Fish is super fresh. Melts in your mouth feeling :) They even have freshly grinded wasabi! Try out their set menu for lunch or dinner. Wine and sake selection is amazing too!

Comfy atmosphere & great sushi rolls. First time taste the Japanese Whisky & love it 😘 They have big wall of Japanese Whisky, Sake & wine & more.... Warm & friendly staff service. Will come again to try their Dim Sum next door too.

Average sushi tasting sushi, super slow service. Would have liked to order a second round but didn’t want to have to wait for 30 minutes to get it. Only plus, two minute walk from my hotel when I’m exhausted.

cute Japanese restaurant with great authentic food and a big selection of wine and sake for a decent price. The service is very friendly. The interior is light and tasteful.

Great place, Amazing sushi!!!

Fantastic food, at very reasonable prices. We had the set menu for 2-3 people with some edamame and miso aubergine. Can’t wait to come back!

A bit overpriced

best sushi restaurant with a great environment, amazing food, and welcoming service. The spicy karaage is fresh and juicy, tar tar comes with an surprising eye-candy presentation, and special duck sushi is delicious and very decently priced.*Must try the kurogoma ice cream (black saseme) Takes card and supports Google pay/Apple pay. The decorations are season-fitting and adorable.d The waitresses are incredibly sweet <3

Very nice restaurant! The foods were quite light and it was so good for my upset stomach after the long travel in Europe. Also I could the left over to take out.

Wonderful food and service. The wait will be long as they only have one or two chefs so if you have a large group be prepared that one person could get their food in 20 mins and the last person could be 30 mins later.
