Japanese Dining Kyoto

Food was ok but way too expensive!! Think before you come.

Brilliant dining experience and wonderful food at a reasonable fare. We dined as a group and sampled many things from the menu, including the nightly specials menu and each dish was mouthwatering and wonderfully presented. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the sushi chef was amazing to watch at work and was very hospitable as a host. I will absolutely be back next time we stop in town!

Absolutely amazing dining experience! The food was incredibly delicious and the service was wonderful from incredibly courteous staff. Our group sat at the bar for dinner and it was amazing to watch the chef prepare our food so beautifully. All of the menu options were delicious and a great size, I would consider it good value for money considering the quality of the ingredients. All the food was prepared in front of us and came out very quickly, the sashimi melted in your mouth and the Gyoza’s were delicious not to mention the quality of cut of wagyu beef we grilled in front of us! Every menu item we tried was really well done. I would recommend this restaurant to groups, couples, families and people from all over who are looking to enjoy a wide array of Japanese cuisine in a beautiful and relaxed environment. Definitely worth stopping in!

Absolutely 5 star. The Japanese experience we were looking for. Everyone was very pleasant and hospitable. The food was at its best and really hit the spot with its flavours and tenderness. Decor and room very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Delicious, reasonably priced food (especially the teriyaki chicken and torched salmon nigiri), super friendly service, in a lovely traditional setting. To top things off there was a dog sleeping behind the front counter! :)

wonderful Japanese dining experience. amazing food, reasonably priced. food served quickly and staff friendly and attentive. catered for us vegetarians with vegetable only kimchipot- will come back just for that! also fried tofu lovely and had other vegetarian options. highly recommend & will def come back again, if only for the hot pot.

Great Sukiyaki, but expensive. Other items are affordable and taste good. Make sure you order the Kyoto Tofu Skin. It’s also expensive but something rare. Teriyaki Chicken is good and affordable.

The atmosphere of the shop is also good, which dishes are affordable and tasty! Meat dishes as well as the dishes were delicious and satisfying. It was also good that there are many kinds of alcohol.

Food is fine but service is a chaos.

The best place in Hakuba to go for a proper Japanese dinner. Their tempura is very delicious, so is their sake!
