Japanese Dining Inoue

Great new Japanese restaurant, with lots of positive treats. Great service and knowledgeable staff, who gave some really good recommendations. Food was top class...very fresh and interesting combination of flavours. And the selection of sakÄ— was intriguing. All in all a great experience.

Lovely cocktail on London Cocktail week. Decided to order some sushi and sake and I was not disappointed. Extremely fresh and tasty and the chilled sake was excellent too. Would advise!

What a meal! I was on one of my frequent visits to London and I came across this gem. I absolutely love all of the different Japanese restaurants in London and this is definitely the best one I have eaten in recently! The tasting menu was incredible - every dish was so well executed. Will definitely be back when next in London.

High quality sashimi and sushi. Food was beautifully presented. The black cod was delicious and was a generous sized portion. The black cod croquettes were a an interesting and tasty fusion twist. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Nice dark interior and wood aesthetic. On the higher end of the dining budget, but this is expected with most decent Japanese establishments.

Definitely will recommend to friends. Authentic Japanese food with traditional and also surprising seasoning in some dishes.The overall food quality is sustained at a relatively high standard. The most impressive dish to me is the lobster tempura. Crispy, but not heavy batter shell and tender, juice innner contents makes it the best tempura dish i tasted outside Japan. Whatever, come and have a try.

The best place in town to get my sukiyaki fix when I miss Japan. Everything from the set menu was really good (except maybe the matcha parfait which wasn’t so “parfait” and was rather bland).

It's been a while since I ate wagyu meat and I should do it more often. We tried the tasting menu. Everything from the shusi, lobster tail tempura was fantastic. This was a delicious and wery well made tasting menu.

Lovely evening. Perfect mix of help and attention in choosing and serving dishes. Food was delicious and accompanying sake perfect.

High quality foods and good service !

Overall enjoyable, the soy bean panna cotta is my absolute favourite - not too sweet but still has a strong fragrance of soya.But I felt that the management has put more time in marketing than in the food itself. The food speaks for itself so I’m not personally into over-marketing, or over-flavouring. Sometimes less is more:)

Best dish is the venison Nigiri. Others were okay. Nothing outstanding at these prices. Would come back again to explore other dishes. Service is first rate. Wide selection of alcohol, Japanese and European gin and beer.Mobile reception downstairs is poor but there is free WiFi available.

Expensive but definitely worth it for the course menus. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff, fantastic place for a special occasion. Will be back!

Went to Ginza Onodera to celebrate my partner’s birthday and both of us loved absolutely everything! Seafood was delicious and full of flavour, the robata wagyu steak was to die for - so tender it almost melts in your mouth - and the deserts were a perfect finish. Staff are amazing, very helpful and will go the extra mile for you. Will definitely come back here again!

Came for our anniversary. Although the service started off a bit strange it got much better as the night went on. The food though was amazing. We went for the Aoi 5 course menu which came with the Japanese wagyu steak as the main. I’ve had excellent steak before but this was a different experience altogether; it’s actually indescribable how nice the beef is. The lobster tempura was divine as was wife’s black cod. A final touch they added to our night was to take a photo of us together, print it out and put it in a happy anniversary card, which was incredibly thoughtful - thank you! For a special occasion I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely love Ginza Onodera! In my recent visit we had the afternoon tea, which was very good and the Japanese tea selection is second to none! Highly recommended
