Stopped in to this small cafe when I ended up in their neighborhood. Friendly staff, quick service, affordable and good food! This neighborhood is lucky to have this cafe, not many restaurants in the area.

Had the curry goat, jerk chicken, rice and beans and plantains. All of it was great! So happy to have found this spot in the neighborhood.

Just walked over and purchased a classic curry goat dinner and added jerk wings to sample a bit more of the menu. Rice and peas, cabbage, plantains. Food is excellent. I like a bit more curry intensity but the goat meat was deliciously prepared with very little bone or fat. Fork tender and complemented with stewed potatoes ... tasted like what I was craving for sure. Jerk wings were also excellent ... piquant but not fiery. Well seasoned.Perhaps the best of the experience was chatting with Dawn, the owner, and reminiscing about our shared memories of Hopewell in Jamaica.I heartily recommend Jam’It. Classic and friendly. Affordable. What a great asset to Red Hook!
