The food is really good here but no call waiting to place a pick up order is how you loose business. Nobody has time in the rush of day to wait

One of my favorite South Street restaurants! Beef patties are excellent. Coco bread...awesome! Love this place.

The food was really good, I just don't like how the lady looked at me like a deer in some headlights whenever I order. And the food was overpriced.

I will never go back i had a horrible experience a older women didn't greet me when i arrived she went to the back and never came back. Another young lady arrived and i told her i ordered over the phone she couldn't find my order then when she inquired they informed her it was in the microwave. I almost hit the floor nevertheless the paid for my over priced lunch and went to work only to discover that the food was warmed up and old the chicken was black on the inside i was very disappointed the food use to be made fresh that day but i guess they are selling their left overs

Just moved from Florida and was looking for some authentic Caribbean food. Walk in and the place was empty. We were not properly welcomed in, when we walked in it seemed like we were interrupting the ladies day. The food was cold like it was sitting all day and warmed up, it didn’t look anything like the pictures online. The actual restaurant was dirty, the ceiling fan blades look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. As we began our meal the waitress was rushing us to pay our tab because her shift was over and my bill was overcharged $5. The waitress left before I could address the issue. She left the cook in charge and he could not work the register. I read the reviews before hand and they said the customer service was horrible but I still gave them a try. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will not be returning.

The food is absolutely delicious! Very traditional Jamaican food served up in a modern style. I will make two suggestions: 1. Please make the restrooms more accessible. A customer should never have to go outside, turn the corner and enter the restaurant from the back to use the restroom. 2. Although the service was nice, please find a way to communicate with the customer better.

The food was great and the sauce was sooo good. Cute spot on South Street. Visiting from New Jersey. The walk from hotel on Race Street was well worth it.

So I'm not new to this place. The food and service is normally good. This time however, my friends & I ordered $58 worth of food. None of which was worth eating. The oxtails were tough and lacked gravy/sauce, the side of cabbage was more like a garnish and there was so much rice that the lid could barely close. The other platters were the same. Not worth eating!! Also, not only was the food a problem but the PLASTIC in my oxtails was the icing on the cake. The cashier was very hesitant to give me a refund, she tried to get me to come back the next day and was actually so nonchalant that it seemed like the foreign object was normal to them. I WONT EVER eat here again.

Small restaurant, but staff is super friendly. Food is excellent and fresh!! Can't wait to go back👍👍

The food is regularly fresh and yummy, employees hands over awesome customer service. I love how clean it is and character. Will come visit again.

Some of the best jerk chicken in town. Food has improved immensely. Reasonably priced and nice seating area. Oh, and the waitresses are attractive. Lol

The food was actually pretty good. Thoroughly enjoyed the food but man, the service. Soooooooooo slow. We understand the Jamaican pace of things but not like this! It took forever to get any service then when we did get attention, the server was even worse than slow! It was as if she was really working hard to process every word coming out of our mouths during the order. Additionally, we didn't get items we ordered (patties) which should have been an easy grab but at that point, we said F-it - not even worth the headache. Like I said, food = solid. Just bring your patience with you.

Love it. Great patties & cocoa bread. Very nice people.
