Since moving from Ashtabula, Ohio to Las Cruces, New Mexico July 5th, 2020. Jake's Cafe reminds me of Deb's Diner in Ashtabula, Ohio. Jake's Cafe has my favorite Patty Melt Sandwich. So perfect & yummy 😋🤤

Jake’s has THE BEST green Chile cheeseburger I’ve ever eaten and I don’t know what they put on their fries but they’re amazing (and crispy)! The waitress was welcoming and efficient. Will definitely come back for seconds since I could only handle one!

Ate there for the first time today. It was totally awesome. I'd give them 10🌠 If I could. I'm almost 60 and a big eater. This is the best burger I've had in many years. I'll be back. By far, the best in las cruces. Servers were a little slow but I didn't care. They were swamped and the order was right. Prices were amazingly reasonable. If you're concerned about cholesterol, go somewhere else.

I called ahead this morning & ordered Veggie omelette, hash browns & toast! Amazing breakfast in this time of crisis! Thank you for being there to feed us! I can’t wait til we can go inside again & enjoy the hospitality!🙌

My girlfriend and I have lived in Las Cruces for over two years now and just recently decide to finally give Jake’s Cafe. Let’s just say we were far from disappointed. I had the Green Chile Chicken Fried Steak and she had the Messy Guac Burger. Absolutely phenomenal food. Will definitely be returning.

The best burger I have EVER had. The messy guacamole burger is so darn good. If you love a good burger stop in, you won't be disappointed!!

Great place for after church brunch! We will definitely return to do the challenge!

I had the burger with onion rings and my boyfriend had the sausage/ tri tip with fries. His meal came with bread as well. My burger was pretty good (buns are made in house which was great). Onion rings were crispy but way overbattered. It was more batter than onion. Fries weren't crispy. Bread was soggy. Sausage was pretty basic but tri tip was good. For the BBQ we ordered, it was overpriced for the quality of the food. I'd order the burger again and we would probably try other options for BBQ (pulled pork sandwich looked good). There's no beer served here which is kind of a bummer because a cold beer goes perfectly with BBQ. We'll probably try this place again but, this definitely isn't the best place for BBQ or burgers in Cruces. Service was good and the food came out quickly.

Terrible service, greasy bad food. Went in and stood around for about 10 minutes before anybody would even seat me. Then I sat at the table, ignored, for another 10 minutes before they even came over and asked me what I wanted to drink. I ordered tea, then waited 5 minutes or more before it was delivered to the table and finally they took my order. This was after 25 minutes or so already. I ordered the chickenfried steak, which was delivered fairly quickly. The steak itself was so greasy and disgusting that after a couple bites I gave up on it. I finished my tea and left my almost untouched dinner on the table. I went over to the cash register to pay, and here's the unbelievable thing: nobody even came by to take my cash for about 5 minutes. Finally I just walked out not paying for anything. AWFUL service, terrible food. I'll never go back.

This place use to be located in Doña Ana across from the Grayhound Bus Stop and much better. Since they moved into Las Cruces service has gotten bad as we waited an unexpected length of time to get our order taken. The food once we receive it was overly salty and everyones bacon was buned. Furthermore, we only got one cup of coffee each as the waitress didn't have more coffee ready at the time of are asking. If you want breakfast it is not a good idea to eat here.

Ate at Jake's for the first time today (3-14-21). Jake's has an assortment of different burgers in single and double patty iterations. There is everything from a simple burger to the All American BBQ Bacon Burger, the Messy Burger that comes with Guacamole, Green Chile Cheeseburger, a Patty Melt and others that I don't recall at this time. You can also get a chicken fried steak with gravy, and a chicken sandwich. A kids menu is also available. Service was good, especially give that there was only a single server. My only recommendation to the owner is an option for a hotter green chile. If you are local to Cruces and haven't been yet, I recommend it.

The burgers are really good and the waitress was real friendly and understanding. There was not a single problem with our visit.

Not gonna lie, was super disappointed they dont serve breakfast BUT the food was so freakin' good, i did not care. Sandía Agua was phenomenal - very fresh, no added sugar. I ordered the green chile cheese fries and they were absolutely heavenly (would have returned just for those). Generous portions on the main meal. BBQ flavorful and the sauce def not sweet (thank goodness). The service was top notch. The bathrooms very clean. Highly recommend and will def be back when i pass thru.

The food at Jake's is phenomenal. I have never had a meal at Jake's I didn't absolutely love. These people are what is amazing about Las Cruces.

The food was ok. Everything is served with a thicc amount of grease, cheese, and Type 2. Customer service was great and friendly.
