The food was good, one of the best Thai places in NYC. But I was really disappointed with their service. We ordered 5 appetizers,4 to 5 items in main course and while we were just discussing in a group of 5 whether to order red chilly fish or not, the server said he ordered the red chilly fish already just listening to our discussions. Later on they were not ready to cancel it and they even charged us for it around 45-50 $. If we were ordering so much food, they should have some courtesy to at-least wait for their final orders. Just because we went there around 10 : 30 pm doesn’t mean they can place the order in a rush. They should change their timings as they can’t cater customers late night. I really liked their food especially the red chicken curry and chicken satay. But for the poor service will rate them low.

Loved the ambience and the taste of food. Great choices for drinks. Ample seating. Staff was good but they could have smiled more.

Service was good. The crispy tamarind duck was really crispy and really delicious. Not as sour as I thought it would be. Calamari was ok, more like onion rings. Dumplings were good. You can adjust spice level of dishes which is really nice. Pretty expensive though.

Jaiya serves very tasty meals at fair prices. They get the spice level right. Service is fast and helpful. The decor is attractive.

Food is so tasty - panang red curry and pad see ew were both great. Very flavourful and authentic. Only gripe is the cocktails are not good, too watered down with too much ice.The service is also rather slow. Prices are on the higher end for Thai food.

The Jaiya restaurant is smaller than it appears on television but the food is as advertised. The lights are dim and the mood is very cozy and low key. It is great for a date night. The wait staff is fast and efficient. The food came right away. It was hot, fresh and delicious. Warning, it is serious Thai chill going on in some of the dishes so if you can't stand the heat be mindful of what you order.

Probably the only place I have visited over 20 times so far! Taste is consistent all the time with fast service and delicious food! Eggplant appetizer and tom yum soup are an absolute must. You can never go wrong with any item on the menu, just beware of not ordering spicy unless you have a tolerance! They dont good around when they say spicy!

I’m not gonna lie, this place has pretty well seasoned and deliciously tasty food, but it’s so overpriced. $24 for rice is pretty outrageous but that’s what you get for eating in the city. Do yourself a favor and go eat in flushing or somewhere else because this place isn’t worth the high bills at the end. I had the volcanic soup and special sauce chicken which were all pretty good.

Tom Yum soup was great. Been coming here for years. Unfortunately the service was a little slow last time and my food did not come out hot (drunk man noodles)
