Jack's Stir Brew Coffee

A cute coffee shop in a cute neighborhood. The atmosphere is really nice although the seats are limited!

Came in the late afternoon on Veterans Day - surprisingly cool and sunny. Though the address is in Downing Street, the coffee shop entrance is on 6 Ave... which makes it a great street patio to sip your coffee in the Village!! Jack's Stir Brew Coffee is a local NYC brand serving 100% Organic Coffee Shop and Vegan Bakery. Feeling adventurous? Try some of local favorites such as “Happy Jack” or “Dirty Harry” :)

The baristas were super rude and standoffish. They were more interested in talking to each other than customers. Then the WiFi (or lack thereof) - they first gave me a password that didn't work, then they said they didn't have WiFi (when there was a private Jack's coffee network), then they said they didn't know the password 🤔With all the coffee places in West Village, this should be LAST on your list!

I love the Happy Jack and little breakfast options. Be prepared to pay over $5 for a small crafted coffee drink.

I won a gift card here and was really excited to try it out because of the vegan options and close proximity to NYU. But what’s a coffee shop without WiFi? 😩 If I need to log on quickly to finish up some work and want a coffee I’m now more likely to go somewhere on campus just so I don’t have to go back and forth. Doesn’t make much sense.

nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. the service was very friendly and kind. the bill was fair i would say.

Great location and atmosphere, pastries were dry, coffee is great quality but WAY too hot. Tongue-burning, "still uncomfortable to eat three days after" hot. Will remember to triple check the temp next time

This coffee is amazing!!! The location a bit further downtown is more spacious but this one has a really charming west village vibe. I love the vanilla soy late.

Cute little coffee shop that smells heavenly. Not a lot of indoor seating, but they had some outdoor that was covered.

I am always in pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee. I used to live around the corner from Jack's and there is something special about that place. They remember your name and are always so calm and welcoming when you arrive in a mad rush to get your caffeine fix. My favorite specialty drink they have is called the dirty harry, which is a vanilla soy latte. They also have delicious gluten-free and vegan pastries fresh daily.

The place is nice and cozy. However, I didn't like the espresso. Far from what I was expecting. something went very wrong along the process... Coffee was perhaps overexposed... too dark and burnt for my taste.
