Jack's Old Fashion Hamburger

Haven't been to Jack's in many years. Like 1968. Delicious meal with a hick up. Every thing looked so good. Went to condiment cabinet to decorate the burger. My fries looked rather pale. They were under cooked and cold. No one questions my complaint. Instead this nice lady listened and within moments I had my money back with a free redo. They actually have business ethics and care. Burger was nicely cooked and tender / juicy when I bit into it. Yummy.🍔 I would go back. They had a very nice cold slaw, but. not on menu any longer.

Those are some huge moist easy to eat burgers... Now for the con.... After paying almost $8 for a burger with no fries or drink I shouldn't have to pay an extra $2 for a Ziploc bag with a slice of tomato and lettuce in it. A head of iceberg is $1? It was a good experience but I only like to be nickel and dimed by the government and my cellphone provider.

Home of the reliable, consistent burger. Same taste everytime. Need to not clean the milkshake machine too early at night time.Great shakes, lousy fries, but you always come back for the burger. Try the burger ordered Dry for a change. It's less greasy.

I thought I would of been so much better. But all it reminds me is elementary school lunch. Where they put the burger in the microwave. You guys probably sandbag your burgers in case you get a rush, but you don't have to lay the burgers right on top of the bun. I called in my order 5 mins prior to me getting there. 2 mins it was up and ready, went to my car to eat it bun is completely soggy like a spong . 🤢 not worth my money. Should of gone to five guys of burgerfi. At least there burgers come rippon hot and not soggy.

No maskWent there today and the young blond girl would take her mask off most of the time. She would only put it on when customers would order. She was standing by the food in the window and talking and laughing with no mask. This needs to be reported.

Jack's is a small old-fashioned burger place that only has two locations but it is well worth a visit. The decor is older but always clean while the food is fresh and the burgers are nice and juicy. Each burger is cooked when ordered and never fails to satisfy your hunger. There are also hot dogs and a few other items on the limited menu. Don't forget to select some golden oldies on the jukebox that reminds you of days gone by.

Food was ok. Wait staff not so friendly. Tip to management: even at rush hours your front line should always serve with a smile & positive attitude. Not "want can I get you?" With an indifference tone of voice. Why would someone want to come back to that? Too many other places to go.

I worked next-door for sound advice some 45 years ago Jack Betty was still working in his kitchen and was a wonderful man I will never forget how kind he was I was only in my 20s As far as the burgers they are exactly the same using the same formula I have since moved to Melbourne and on occasion I can pick up my son drive all the way to Fort Lauderdale for the nostalgia and for the wonderful burgers Jack made I simply can’t forget those great days we ate lunch there every day great food and we never thought of eating anywhere else! So now I’m 67 years old and can’t forget that food what a burger!

The best burger I've ever had. There are lots of great places but this place is hands down the best. Never frozen, ground fresh each day, 3 cuts of meat. They add nothing. The flavor is simply sublime.

It really was an old fashioned experience and I mean the good kind with excellent quality, fresh burgers and a great place to be with friends and family. The burgers were obviously not common frozen little slabs of tasteless cardboard. You add your own condiments whether you eat there or take it to go. You get a variety of choices to build your burger or hot dog exactly the way you want it. Our party loved it. The wood decor and soft lighting made it feel like a comfy cabin. It was very clean. We enjoyed the photos of old Fort Lauderdale throughout the dining area. Why not a 5-star rating? No vegetarian burger option. There are a few very rare times that I miss eating meat and this was one of them. It all looked and smelled so good. I did max out on the tasty fries, though, while everyone else raved about the burgers. We will definitely visit there again!

I've been eating here since I was a child. If you want a plain good old fashion cheese or hamburger, this is the place. It's nothing fancy, but always a treat.

I guess it is nice to see a business succeed for so many years, but I think it is time for them to bring in some "change". It felt a little bit too old fashioned, I didn't see any young people in there......???!!!???

Been going there for 30 years, still the best burgers in town.
