Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill

We've went to their location in Hilo last year and had an amazing time with fantastic food. This location had a lot to live up to and they didn't disappoint. Great food, drinks and service. You can't go wrong here.

All of our entrees were excellent... fresh catch of the day mahi mahi, scallops and the special which was lobster. The staff is also first rate thus we always come back when on island!

We had a great experience at Jackie Rey's. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. For appetizers we tried the ribs, crab cakes, kalua egg rolls, tuna tartare and all were excellent. You could make a great meal out of appetizers here.

This is clearly a restaurant who’s gotten to big for its britches. Being called a great restaurant doesn’t mean you are, you have to live up to it. From the greeting at the door that we would call at best, abysmal, to the entree that we were told was available, only to be told 20 minutes later it was not.The entrees we did end up with, were ok, but certainly nothing to write home about it. We gave a score of two because the server deserved something. Pushing as many people through the door is obviously the main goal here. For anyone that’s a foodie, there are many other restaurants in Kona that deserve your hard earned money. Oh, reservations mean nothing...... you will get a table when and if they feel like it.

We visited Jackie’s in Hilo & Kona and both were excellent. Service and food are fantastic, I would say they are one the best restaurants on the island.

Excellent dining experience. Good atmosphere. Reservations highly recommended. We didn't have one and the wait was 1hr+.Still worth the wait.

We have driven past Jackie Reys so many times. We finally went for our anniversary. We arrived at 4:30pm to have a cocktail before dinner. The bar area was full so we sat at our table. Our server was very good, smiled told us about the specials. One was lobster and told us it would go quick and it did. My clams and linguine/white sauce was spot on. Food was outstanding. Service tip top. The only negative I have is the fact we waited so long to go to this very special place. We will absolutely be going again and again. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great staff!

Great food and specialty cocktails at happy hour. Service was fast and experienced. I had a nice spread of gluten free options.

We stopped here the first night of our honeymoon and then again on our last night. The food was phenomenal, and the service was top notch. Both my husband and I agreed it was the best food we ate on the island.

Excellent food, we can see why the locals come here. It was full and even with booking, you might have to wait. The wait was worth it.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the coconut crusted calamari to start, the batter was tasty but the calamari wasn't very fresh. My wife ordered the clam linguine for her main which didn't have a whole lot of flavour. I ordered the the chicken and shrimp angel hair, it was good but nothing special

We were recommended to visit this place frim Facebook friends and I'm glad we did. Two of us got the Surf n Turf - it was super good but we were all jealous of my wife's rack of ribs. Not only.super tender and full of flavor, but a very nice portion.
