Great bbq for a great price! I was blown away of how good the food was there.

I had ribs and chicken combo. My first time. It was pretty good. Place is small and old but reasonably clean. I will try again.

The combination sandwich is my favorite sandwich in San Jose. I've been here dozens of times, and I always leave happy.

JC has the best hot links, ribs, potato salad, beans and French bread around! I always have to stop in when I'm in town visiting family and friends. The only negative I could say is that they don't have tri-tip which I love. Otherwise I don't think you can be disappointed here; I never have been.

New owners, something lost in the transaction. I will try it again hoping for the best next time. The food was served room temp. like when you get it out of your lunchbox not the expectation when served to you. BBQ sauce covered a quarter of the ribs no reason be tight with the sauce not like the old days or like is seen on the website. I hope customers speak up and the new owners listen to save this little treasure.

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a delicious lunch, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and many types of food and a rich cuisine.well mannered team, and great mood. Also, the price is fair. I tell about this restaurant with pleasure.

This place is certainly one of the most pleasant place in the area. Always when I come there I am extremely happy. They always keep their very high level service and the highest level of meals they provide. You always win with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This place is extremely unpretentious: the interior is reminiscent of a very old rural tavern or something. But no matter: JC’s is all about the food! Sweet Southern style BBQ at its best. And the potato salad has the perfect hint of mustard—lively but still mild. A longtime favorite of mine.

New owmers! Food taste and quality of it is not the same! Burnt ribs and hot links. Been going there for 13 years and tried it twice and no bueno! New cooks new owners! 😑😔
