Great service and food. My tuna steak sandwich was a bit overcooked but still very tasty. Nice atmosphere. This is definitely an upper scale place

This resturant is by far my favorite in Northwest Ohio. The service is always outstanding. The food is always consistantly fresh,hot, and delicious. Mr Jack's crispy chicken platter is a must. The carrot cake is the best around town. It comes out warm, moist and is o so decadent.

Went to J. Alexander's with a group of friends. Had a very nice meal, the Cajun trout. It was very good. Service was excellent. Well worth going back.

Seriously one of the best grilled chicken salads I've ever had. Usually like to put my own ranch dressing on, but they did a better job than I would have done. 10/10 would recommend.

Besides the fantastic food, atmosphere, and experience, the number one reason we keep coming back is the SERVICE! Rochelle rocks. The kindness, attentiveness, and excellence made a tough day tolerable. This particular visit was the fourth anniversary of my wife's death (her favorite restaurant, by the way) Rochelle was incredible. Words cannot express how much my sons and I appreciated her customer/guest service. Thank you!

My mom had the grilled pork chop, and loved it. The portion was more than she could eat; she was forced to ask for a doggy bag.My mother-in-law had the crab cakes. I swear, I honestly didn't expect my M.I.L. to dig the crab cakes, but she loved them! They came with a nice dill sauce and some sides. My step-father-in-law had the Lake Erie perch dinner.

Food quality and atmosphere have always been top notch! Every staff member pitches in which is amazing with the lack of customer service at most places now a days. Zachary is by far the BEST server we have had especially with his attention to detail. This is definitely our go to place for burgers, steaks, and more!

Great food and our service was excellent. I recommend the Cilantro Shrimp & Alex Salad with chicken. Everyone from the hostess, managers, and our waitress Caroline was perfect with service and hospitality. Great night out and the Lemontini is tasty💕!

We moved from the Toledo area in 2013, but We dined at J’s a few times a Week. Great Food, Professional & Kind Servers. We miss this Restaurant, 1 of the 2 Best Restaurants we’ve ever been to. Always Meticulously Clean. The Food and Drinks are Incredible!
