Staff look totally confused. By 2pm seven of ten on menu are sold out. Didn't notified us until we get our seat after 40 minutes wait. Didn't even bother to serve us tea. Not worth the time

This is a great place to eat as there is views of the temples and mountains. Good service, they speak english. Food is great and not too pricey.

First off, this is a place for tourists. Keep that in mind, and please read through to the end of this review. The tempura and somen were ok but not exceptional by any means. -1 star.Secondly the service is also not great, I had to ask for refills each time. -1 star.Yes I know my Japanese isn't great, I dont think that really makes me THAT scary though, -1 star.It was really cold outside and getting to eat the Nara style sushi with a view was a nice experience while warming up! +1 star. The set was a fair price for what you get so I would still recommend this place, just keep in mind you only show up for the sushi and the warm seat.

Kakinoha Sushi is a Nara specialty where sushi is wrapped in persimmon leaves. (do not eat the leave) It's something different and nice to try at least once.

I bought a take-out sushi lunch-Yakushi from the first floor (1200 yen + tax). Contents: é®-cigar cigars * 3 鯖-cigar cigars * 3 鯛-æ«» æ«» 3 * 3 and seasoned wild vegetables-Oboro kombu maki * 3 each sushi was delicious. It was the first time that Makoto and Tsubakiyamana were very delicious. As it is an arrangement of traditional preserved food, I would like to thank you for keeping it at room temperature.

Great tasting, although limited menu choice. Quick and friendly service. Overall a good place to grab some sushi while visiting Nara Park.

Since we came to Nara, we have persimmon leaf sushi. I can eat steamed sushi and nyume, and I'm happy. The view from the window was wonderful. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I received a set meal, the sushi was mackerel, salmon, wild cherry blossom season, so it also included saki sushi in the sea bream, so I love mackerel so persimmon leaf sushi! It was delicious. The wind was cold and cold day, so warm roasted noodles were delicious.

A cozy and relaxing shop. It was the third time. There is a space on the 1st floor where you can eat Kashiwanoha Sushi at a store. The restaurant on the second floor is a restaurant with a great view of Todaiji Temple. This time, we ordered Nyumen and Kashiwanoha sushi (鯖, 鯖) separately. Nyumen comes with tempura, and soup stock has a Kansai-like taste, and my favorite shrimp tempura is freshly fried and delicious. I can't eat salmon, my husband ate salmon, but Kashiwanoha Sushi after a long time was easy to eat with vinegar.

Nara Prefecture's specialty “Kashiwanoha Sushi†and “Somen†are dishes that can be enjoyed at once. The inside of the store was bright and I was able to see Todaiji Temple because I was seated by the window. If you go to Nara again, this is the store you want to visit.

lovely place for traditional japanese food. A good place to rest but it is a little pricey since it's in a tourist area

I entered the shop around 14:00. There were many customers in a calm atmosphere. The food was delicious, but we waited a long time before coming out.

I visited around 13:00, but it was a turn. There was only summer vacation and it was full of families and foreign tourists. However, I was immediately guided in about 10 minutes. And I ordered Tempura, Miwa Somen and Kashiwanoha Sushi as a set. I asked. I followed my heart that this combination would be good in summer.I finished eating at 13:40 and the queue was waiting longer.
