The food is great with many options for each taste. The stuff is also friendly, nice outdoor seating.

Super tasty and very cheap Japanese restaurant in the middle of Frankfurt close to Messe.We went for Lunch and had a tasty salmon with rice and soup. 11Eur per dish is an amazing cheap price for such a tasty and well done meal.

I have been there twice. The food are really tasty especially Udon. It is cheaper at lunch time. And I like that you can reserve the table online. They will then confirm if there is free table.

Very good, simple, perfect for lunch, Japanese restaurant. Great service, will bring you warm tea as soon as you get in. Offer sushi, great tempura, ok bowls with udon and etc. has a great selection of drinks. All in all just perfect for its price position. And never too busy.

Exactly like Japanese food should be: high quality, freshly prepared, delicious and authentic. Staff was friendly and helpful as well, but lacking in omotenashi nevertheless. No typical Japanese "irrashaimase" when entering, or any kind of arigatou when leaving (though the cashier did say thanks and bye when I paid).The only negative point was the temperature - it was a mild mid-December day, yet I was feeling rather hot in only just a t-shirt even before eating hot pot!I'll do my best to return, even though I'm not local.

Japanese staff that speaks English fairly well. Sushi a bit too small. Green tea tasty. Pretty crowded so reserve a seat in advance.

It’s really not that amazing, service was SUPER slow. Had to wait for 50 mins for my main dish. The waiter had good attitude, but food was served without a pair of chopsticks and napkins and I had to ask them for it... maybe it is a busy day but things could be done better..

Mangetsu is extremely tasty! I highly advise to reserve a table if you want to eat here in the evening. The prices are high but given the really good taste and the unique feel of the food, I can say that it is completely fair.The sushi, the ramen soups and even the bean-containing desserts are a really good eating experience.It is super easy to get here by tram; it is also possible to walk here from the West-Train Station or from Bockenheimer Warte.

Great Japanese restaurant. Authentic, fresh and tasty. One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.

Tasty, authentic Japanese food. Probably one of the best places I know to eat Japanese food outside of Japan :)
